This is a folky/gypsy jazz song I've been messing with for a while.  This particular permutation from 2010 was arranged to play with my old group, The Marietta James, so the folk feel comes through a lot.  I wanted an upbeat, lively feel in the style of Django Reinhardt to contrast with the lyrics about a girl in a very desolate state of being.  The audio is rough, and the song will continue to take different forms I think, but I think the feelings expressed through the song are clear through this particular recording.  Jason Emery - guitar, harmonica, Jeff Fuller - drums, Drew Jorgensen - bass.  Written by Zeahna Young, arranged by The Marietta James.
