Callin'

My name is Sarah Couch and I am a songwriter and vocalist from Jamaica. Music has been a major part of my life since the very beginning. It all started with me writing a song on the piano that I eventually performed in front of 2,000 people when my mom called me on stage. I also made a poetry CD at the age of 10. I guess you can say I grew up in the world of music. There was always a recording studio in the house because both of my parents were musicians. Music constantly surrounded my life from day one and I have collaborated with several artists from a variety of different genres and hope to continue to do so in the future. I am currently experimenting with Electronic Dance Music (EDM) to see a different side of the music industry. In the future I hope to be happy by enjoying making music that has passion and connects with others. If I could play with anyone in the world it would be my mom Suzanne Couch or Chris Martin the lead singer of Coldplay. The music industry is very tough and unforgiving and success depends on having the right team, the right guidance, and people that hold themselves to high standards of quality. I am not sure where I will be musically in the 5 years but technology will play a large factor as well as how hard I work at continuing to put out new music.
