Once Upon A December

What do I do celebrate getting the full range of my voice back after a nasty cold? Why, record a crappy cover of my favorite SU song in the bathroom on my phone, of course! :D

(Note: I know it says "no music" but you will hear *some* music when it gets quiet. I had my iPod playing and one earbud in so I'd get the timing right. lol)

It's Over, Isn't It (cover, no music)

I'm not very comfortable with boy voices yet. So naturally I decided to make it more difficult on myself to practice by singing AND doing three other voices in the same song: Zazu, Nala, and the chorus (my normal singing voice). This is all one take on my phone, though I did pause during the instrumental parts and continue recording once the vocals came back in.

Celebrating getting over a cold with a song is probably going to be a tradition now. lol I don't have 100% full control over my voice back just yet and it's still a little hard to hear myself, but that is probably the best final note I've ever done on this song.

I adore this song beyond words and will definitely re-record it with a proper mic and mixing software at some point.
