A poem by Anno Birkin, "At the Crags, At the Tooth" from his book, "Who Said the Race Was Over?"  Anno was a brilliant young poet and also a musician.
The flow of the poem is so much fun with great use of an internal rhyming scheme, so it's lovely to read out loud!

We are just dancing in the apocalypse now, arms open, blood raining from the sky. 

It might feel terrifying. Hold on.
It might feel like hope is lost. Hold on anyway. 
It might feel like a thousand pairs of hands are pulling you into the dark water. 

Breathe. 

Hold on. Hold on. Hold on.

Love is greater than any darkness. Hope will sing softly to your heart. Can you hear it? It’s in birdsong in the mornings. It’s in the love you feel for your partner, your family, your furry companions. 

Life will crack us open and break us, and then remake us again from the ashes. Sometimes many times over! You will be forged anew in the fire. If you can still sing, if you can still love fiercely knowing this loss, if you can still hold a tiny flame of joy even amidst the darkness, even for a moment — then all is not lost! You are not lost. 

And if you are lost, no matter. You can be called back into life again. Into love. Great Spirit can help you. 🙏

To feel love and joy becomes a radical act during a time of tyranny. These emotions have a ripple effect that we don’t see. It is never pointless, and your being here, matters. 
Hold on brother. Hold on sister. 
We are all in this together. 🙏💖
