For this installment of my chill series I found inspiration the moment I heard a vocodered voice singing Hotel California in the Luxxury edit. A week later I heard AfroQBen's amazing remix of Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith and I was off to the races. Being a New Wave kid as a teen I didn't get into many of these songs until my adult years and yet somehow I listen to this mix and it makes me feel like a teenager again.

The music of LCD Soundsystem is perfect. From a DJ perspective what more is there to do than pay homage? With a couple exceptions I used the original versions of their songs for this mix. It's everything I love about the music of my favorite band of this era.

While stuck at home under quarantine, I reached out to my friends on social media and asked "What song made you happiest when you were growing up?" I compiled the answers and went crate digging for remixes. Here's the result -- 46 tracks, 31 genres, 7 decades of musical history, all recorded live in one take.
