This album sums up the last few years of my life.  Searching for happiness, I came across misery;  Wanting to succeed, I discovered how to fail;  Trying to balance, I ended up falling.  Looking for answers, I found them here all along.  And, in all of this, I was able to continually grasp on to hope that life was putting me exactly where I needed to be.
It is with utmost gratefulness and appreciation for life and how life's lessons appear, that I am releasing this album - "11".   
I have so many people to thank!   My love, my family, my friends, my band mates, my mentors, my angels in disguise.  I thank you all for supporting me, lifting me up and helping me never lose hope.

You Don't Get My Love

Sarah has always been vulnerable in her songwriting – she doesn’t know how to do it any other way. Unveiling takes that openness to a deeply personal new level as Sarah sings about love, loss, and having the courage to trust in her own voice.

Unveiling is Sarah’s fifth studio album, following A Christmas Wish (2018), 11 (2016), The Journey (2014), and Stronger Now(2012). She also released her live album Live In Concert in 2018, and the live DVD Sarah Smith: Plugged and Unplugged in 2015. In addition to her full-length albums, she regularly releases stand-alone singles and music videos.

Recorded at London, Ontario’s EMAC Studios and Second Records in St. Thomas, Ontario, Unveiling is unmistakeably a pop/rock album. The 15 tracks draw on Sarah’s ‘90s rock influences and once again display her characteristic knack for writing hooks and singalong melodies. From the infectious ‘Beautiful Disaster’ and ‘Divine Intervention’ to the hard driving ‘You Don’t Get My Love’ and the haunting ballad ‘The Hider,’ the record is Sarah and her band pushing from a harder foundation, digging deeper and unleashing intense, pent-up emotions.

As Sarah says in the album liner notes, the songs are about opening yourself to a new future, and believing that the right road lies ahead. It’s a truth she’s come to know the hard way through years of spiritual and musical development.

Sarah Smith is a fiercely talented Canadian singer/songwriter, known for her powerful and compelling stage performances and the bold humanity of her songwriting. 
After honing her craft as a member of proto-Punk band The Joys, Sarah has spent the last 15 years as a solo artist, touring relentlessly throughout Canada, while also building a growing and deeply loyal fan base in key parts of the United States and Europe. She has been honoured with over 25 Canadian Independent industry awards for her work, and has shared the stage with some of the most respected Canadian artists of all time, including Carole Pope, Sass Jordan, Joel Plaskett, Bif Naked, as well as International acts like Melissa Etheridge, Nancy Wilson and KT Tunstall. 
She has steadily released original music over the past decade, including 2023’s “Come Together”, an 18-track album which combines the sounds of Canadian Production by Mick Dalla-Vee (Randy Bachman) as well as European production by Pat Anthony (Usher).
A native of London, Ontario, Sarah recently moved to Pender Island, off the coast of mainland British Columbia where she has experienced a personal rebirth and a revitalization of her creative artistry. The balance she has rediscovered in life has translated into new and exciting creative endeavours and re- energized her desire to become an international touring artist. 
Sarah Smith is an artist of uncommon ability, unrivalled authenticity, who connects with all who encounter her remarkable songs and live performances.
Sarah is an inspiring advocate for mental health and well-being. She uses her platform to not only play shows, but to also share her story and support organizations like the Canadian Mental Health Association, Addictions Services of Thames Valley, My Sister’s Place, Anova, and Vanier Children’s Services. Through her social activism, Sarah is helping to make a real difference in the lives of many.
