Juliet Fox completes the first chapter of her techno label TREGAMBE with a thumping new single that begs to be amplified by a soundsystem this summer.

The third release on her budding imprint, it ties in with the themes of togetherness and human connection that were rapturously explored on the previous two.

“This is the perfect track to dust off the first wave of releases on the label. Landing in June, start of the summer, it’s an uplifting, high-energy record that I hope gives people a sense of that quintessential summer vibe, especially now that we’re headed for clubs and festivals again. All the tracks coming through my label have told a story relating to the human experience of unity and intimacy, and ‘Let’s Fly’ sees the first chapter of TREGAMBE end on a real high before I dive into the next.”

He recently released on T78 Autentone Records, Codex, Unrilis, Phobiq, Set About and many more, catching the ears of leading techno DJs like Adam Beyer, Enrico Sangiuliano, Richie Hawtin, Spacer 92, Spektre, Joyhauser, Nicolas Moudaber just to name few.

‘Reflections’ opens the EP with a fast paced rhythms, big pounding beats and progressive sound. ‘Voodoo’ comes second on the list and has a special classic vibe mixed with futuristic melodic shots. Closing the EP is a track called ‘Homeless’ which carries on the same energy with its atmosphere.

A testament to the growth of Adam Beyer’s scene-leading label, Drumcode annual A-Sides Vol.8 is the brand’s biggest yet.

The 25-track strong compilation features standout cuts Beyer has received over the last 12 months, but been unable to find room for in Drumcode’s regular release schedule, such is the volume and high standard of music that’s submitted.

The highlight-rich compilation includes Jamie Jones & Darius Syrossian’s buzzy Drumcode debut ‘Eyes of the Night’, Nicole Moudaber’s first DC release in 5 years with the mesmerizing ‘This Is Us’, Will Clarke’s bass-drenched re-work of Adam Beyer & Bart Skils ‘Your Mind’ and Joey Beltram’s first Drumcode release in 11 years with the retro-tinged ‘Can You Feel It’. 

The beloved Alan Fitzpatrick returns to the fold with the searing ‘Heiße Rakete’, alongside label mainstays Layton Giordani, who drops the stirring chord-driven ‘Chrome’ and Wehbba with ‘Mantra’, combining techno classicism with future-focused groove.

There’s a troupe of debutants donning the Drumcode jersey for the first time, including BEC, Shelley Johannson, Anthony Castaldo, Avision, Zimmz, Woo York, SAMA (in a terrific collaboration with Secret Cinema) and Ilija Djokovic, who delivers a shimmering highlight with ‘Aura’, a particular favourite of Beyer’s over the last year. Raxon also debuts on the label after a couple of quality additions to the Truesoul back catalogue.

Exciting young guns Weska and Juliet Fox bring heat to the compilation, while Veerus and Timmo follow up strong DC releases with a repeat dose. Elsewhere faithful contributors Ramon Tapia, Jay Lumen, Luca Agnelli, Marco Bailey and Mark Reeve craft powerful dancefloor weapons.

After the debut of the illusive Welticke, KD RAWs head honchos Kaiserdisco, took on their remixing mantle and delivered a pulverating remix that takes Energizer to a whole new direction, while keeping and eye out for the original. Veteran in the game Axel Karakasis brings us Faced Reflection for a techno behemoth delivering the attitude. Ferhat Albaryrak and Kuvoka bring us Dematerialize. A wonky buzzing affair, with a relentless groove to accompany the mesmerizing leads. Sara Simonit, DJ and Producer, was born and raised in a small city outside Venice,
Italy where her love of electronic music, and more importantly techno, was born out of
an early introduction to clubs and nightlife thanks to being part of a musical and creative
family.
As one of techno’s newest talents gaining increased recognition both within Europe and
beyond, Sara had some relevant releases on labels such as Pan-Pot’s Second State,
Christian Smith’s Tronic, Pig & Dan’s Elevate, Coyu’s Suara and Boris’ Transmit to
name a few with her latest productions to be supported from none other than the likes of
Carl Cox, Sasha, Joris Voorn, 2000 and One , Pan-Pot among others and
at major events such as Time Warp, Tomorrowland, Zurich Street Parade and
Creamfields.
Currently being based in Ibiza, Sara has been living between Dubai, Milan and London
while also playing in clubs such as EGG (London), Sisyphos (Berlin), Thanzaus West
(Frankfurt), Panama (Amsterdam), Output (New York), Eden (Ibiza), Sankeys (Ibiza),
and Provocateur (Dubai) to name a few.
Sara has gained major inspiration from some of the finest Techno acts going from Len
Faki to Ben Sims, and DJ Bone to Pan-Pot, while curating and perfecting her skills
delivering refined techno sets with her fun and energetic personality which keeps
dancefloors raving for hours on end.
Moving into 2020 Sara is looking to hit the road again after a super successful 2019 of
productions and events along with interesting productions and collaborations....so keep
an eye on this rising talent who will surely make some noise!
