PIV042 picks up the pace with label resident and versatile Dutch producer Project 89. The opening piece When I'm Around delivers a classic journey of funk, followed by the dreamy and absolute groover Rooftop. Title track Notice Me gets any dancefloor triggered around its melodious output, while the dub feeling of Sudden wraps up this solid pack of original cuts.

Thomas Garcia delivers his debut EP on Buriloop Records with three massive tunes that will get any dance floor pumping! We start of with 'Unintentional', a collaboration with Annata that could best be described as harmonious combination between peak hour tech grooves, minimal synth stabs, psychedelic pads and dreamy vocals. Following this masterpiece we have 'DMB' which uses sexy guitar riffs, soulful vocals and a powerful rolling bassline to make this one what we like to call an absolute funky groover! Finally the third track 'El Viento' seals this project by being the deepest track on the EP with rolling toms as the bassline, dreamy synth work and trippy whispers.

Luckily, you are not alone, and beneficial are the ones that led the way prior. You acknowledge the past and plan for the future yet step by step remain present, conquering the slope yourself. Ultimately, envisioning, overcoming, and feeling the final light break through the clouds.

Our first single release features the upcomer Saints Café, the talented singer Nair and our own two Paluccis. It was recorded during Covid 2021 in locked-up home studios.
The original is the soundtrack to our late summer nights cherishing precious moments of reconnection. A mix of analog pads, crispy guitar and snappy percussion topped with lush vocals make it complete. DJOKO aka Kolter delivers a powerful rhythm-ridden Remix to illuminate the nightly cruise through the club.

It has been a sublime journey. 5 years definitely means something. A time to reflect on what has been accomplished especially on a musical level. When original creative ideas come to fruition in ways beyond imagination, one can only be thankful and proud.

Thankful for all the people that have helped us along the way and proud of the philosophy we continued to carry on the last years. The label has always been a way to preserve the cultural legacy of housemusic.

This 5 years of PIV volume commemorates this significant milestone.
