This poem was written during a Palestinian youth solidarity camp that children from all over the West Bank and Jerusalem attended. It was inspired by a template that the children added to and embellished upon, with the purpose of describing their national identity. We began with this poem as it encompasses many parts of Palestinian identity through the eyes of our youth; our future.

This reading signifies the struggle that Palestinians face to keep their identity intact. We include it to show how much the conflict has become a part of the Palestinian identity, as it has lasted so long, and to remind us that they will never give up the right to their identity.

This song is about Palestinians in the diaspora that was created in the 1948 and 1967 mass exile/forced migration, who long to return to their homeland. We included this song as it shows how Palestinians cling to their identity, no matter where they live now, the nationality they were forced to acquire or the number of generations they have been refugees.

This song calls for the Palestinian diaspora to return to Palestine as soon as possible, to reclaim their Palestinian identity. We included this song to show a clear message from our ancestors not to forget our roots, and not let our connection with other cultures let us forget where we came from, and who we are.
