Ibn-e-Qaabeel is the debut song of Sarkash. It started as a poem written for a theater play of the same name.The poem later won a very prestigious poetry award in Italy (http://home.castellodiduinopoesia.org/vincitori/vincitori-2010/?lang=en). 
The poem was transformed into a song between 2011 and 2012. The vocal compositions were created by Hamza Omer and Huzaifa Arshad. The guitar parts were created by Huzaifa. The song was produced and recorded by Ali Sher in his studios.

Ajab yeh amad-e-bahaar hai
Keh har oor gard-o-ghubaar hai
Meray sheher ko kyun jala dia
Bharak uthi kahan se naar hai

Rahguzar mai lahoo ke daag hain
Jane kon yahan qatal huey
Woh jo shaam ke sang hi dhal gaye
Manzil se pehle hi jal gaye

Us mazloom ne kia kasoor kia
Jis ka rozgaar aj ujar gaya
Kia khata thi us maa ki bhi
Jis ka aashiana aj jal gaya

Kyun fatoor ko dastoor likhain
Kyun majmay sung befikr chalain
Jo khird ko tasleem na ho
Uss dar pe kyun sajda karain

Kis ka kasoor hai yeh kia kahain
Keh har mazloom bilakhir zaalim banay
Insaaf jab bikne lage
Toh har musa ke ghar phir firoun palay

Kehne ko Ibn-e-Aadam hain hum
Kehne ko Umat-e-Muhammad (PBUH) bhi
Magar insaan toh nahin, musalmaan bhi nahin

Mehez Ibn-e-Habeel aur Ibn-e-Kaabeel hain hum

Strange arrival of spring in the air
Smoke, dust, ashes everywhere
Why did they burn my city down?
Wonder who sparked the fire
 
Dim lit alleyways, all soaked with blood
I Wonder who all got killed and why
All those who faded with the dimming light
Those who departed in vain along the night
 
What wrong could that man have done?
Whose livelihood was destroyed today
And what was harm did that woman do
Whose family was burned to ground
 
So why accept crazy as the norm?
Why be another brick in the wall?
Why bow down to false idols?
That our reason does not approve of

Can’t blame a side for all this rot
The abused is the abuser in this pot
When justice becomes a for sale rag
Only Pharos nurture in even Moses lap
 
We are all Adam's children they say
All blood brothers, born to love
Romulus and Remus perhaps?
Or Cain and Abel perhaps?
