Vintage Fred V right here, I stumbled upon this feel-good track in an old mix earlier this weekend, can't believe I hadn't heard it before. This track was made around 2009/early 2010.

Fred V - Wanna Get To Know You (Sarsy Edit + Extension)

An extended version of Anemoly (originally titled 'Lost Sea' in 2007) by Dekota (Kryptic Minds & Leon Switch alias), the track is an atmospheric liquid roller with dark, techy elements - a blend that works to great effect. Only one clip of this exists and its on their Two Swords mix CD, which was released back in 2008. Kryptic Minds & Leon Switch released only a handful of tracks as Dekota from 2006-2008 and this track in particular is a great example of their transitioning period from techy amen dnb to dark dubstep.

Dekota - Anemoly (Lost Sea) (Sarsy Edit + Extension)

Percussion-focused, tribal dubstep by the shadowy producer Percept. At the time a young producer, Percept had a solo release on Innamind in 2012 (IMR004) as well as appeared in a couple of compilations, he sadly disappeared from the scene just as quick as he arrived. Track is from 2012.

Another covert and mysterious producer that sprung up during the dungeon era, Gutcha, who later changed his alias to ΔKX. Track is from 2011/2012.

Fred V & Grafix - November Untitled

Signature early Clubroot production, bass heavy and moody atmosphere which was only featured once in his mix for Sonic Router. Track is from 2009/2010.

Clubroot - Stained Glass (Sarsy Edit + Extension)

Digging deep in the archives for this one, another track by the elusive producer known briefly as Percept. On top of creating a pounding percussion-focused track, he sampled the mongolian string instrument, the erhu, to great effect. Track is from late 2011/early 2012.

Percept - Khalka (Sarsy Edit + Extension)

Gantz putting his touch on Congi's massive tune, Cult, elevating the original with a mean bassline - both versions are from 2012. This remix by Gantz is in his signature early style and raises the original to another height. It was slated to be released on J.Robinson's label Tribe12, but it still remains a dubplate to this day.

Kromestar - Lord Vayu (Sarsy Edit + Extension)

The quintessential Kryptic Minds & Leon Switch track - soothing vocals paired with hard hitting techy beats, the clash of heaven and hell. 

I don't know a lot about this tune, other than the fact that there is a John B remix of the original mix (never heard the original mix), which was slated to be released on the Lost All Faith album back in 2004 (it took another 3 years for it to be released in 2007 with many changes to the tracklisting, which included omitting any version of this track). 

Fascinating bit of trivia regarding the album; back in 2004, Si (Kryptic Minds) also mentioned that the title track of the album, Lost All Faith, was an 11 minute orchestral piece - the track got cut down to 9 minutes and 41 seconds.
Additionally, he mentioned two tracks titled 'Opus 1' and 'Opus 2'. There was 1 track which made it to the album called Opus Dei, which makes me wonder if there was another, similar orchestral piece made by them but didn't make the cut.

This version of the track was made around 2003/2004.

Respiratory Fluctuations, a dub that was played frequently by Youngsta in 2011, at the time mislabelled as Vicious. Later featured in other mixes by Killawatt.

J.Robinson - Mind Lock (Sarsy Edit + Extension)

Taken from Loxy's guest mix for Youngsta, live on Rinse FM 17.12.2012. 

In a review of J. Robinson & Gantz - The Maasai / Misread in January 2013 it was mentioned that J. Robinson had a 'devastating collaboration' forthcoming with Loxy & MC Fokus. Roughly 6 months later in June 2013, Each & Every (without MC Fokus over it) gets released back with J. Robinson & Cern - Tidal on Tribe 12, which initially made me think this version with MC Fokus was a working version of the track that got scrapped, but as MC Fokus says in the track, this is a VIP. J.Robinson if you ever read this, I will gladly sacrifice an organ for any Tribe12 dubs to be released on BC. Big up!

J.Robinson & Loxy ft. MC Fokus - Each & Every (VIP) (Sarsy's No MC Clip)

One of my favorite techstep tunes ever and quite possibly one of the hardest drum & bass tracks, this is the vicious and twisted Kryptic Minds & Leon Switch remix of Evil Streets, sampling news outlets as well as George W. Bush during the 9/11 attacks back in 2001. What I wouldn't give for a clean, full length 320kbps mp3 of this one, heck any quality at this point...

The original track by Capital J (@djcapitalj) was released in July 2003 on Kenny Ken's Mix & Blen' label (MNB 023). On the flip was a remix by Sappo of Footmasters' Metal Gear, but it's labelled as a Kryptic Minds track and not Footmasters, eluding to the fact that Kryptic Minds was a part of Footmasters. The original Metal Gear by Footmasters was also released on Mix & Blen' back in 2001 (MNB 015).

This audio is cut from a live recording of Kryptic Minds & MC Armanni Reign at Bass-XL, Hangar 1 in Ostend, Belgium on October 15, 2004.

A more or less full version of Ruffhouse's VIP of Inversion, clean with no MC. I used a total of 4 different recordings to recreate this, hopefully it will get released at some point. The original is a massive tune and this remix adds the signature dark layer of Ruffhouse, made exclusively for Loxy.

Extended clip I made of a minimal remix/VIP of Intalek by J:Kenzo taken from Loxy's Applied Sciences Division 3. Contains elements of Shiken Hanzo - Bushido as it's taken from a mix featuring both, yet Shiken Hanzo says he knows nothing about this iteration. The intro is definitely different from the original mix, so I suspect a VIP by Kenzo himself.

The last track which was featured in the UKF Music Podcast #14 mixed by Fred V and Grafix back in 2011. This track is different from the usual drum and bass they would release, showing a different style from the duo.

Yonder Rise is an old unreleased dub made by the legendary Grafix. The track was first known as 'Burning Flesh' in 2009, but later got changed to Yonder Rise around 2010/2011.

I remember listening to the then new Forza Horsion 4 Hospital Records Soundtrack on Beatport back in 2018. I nearly fell off my chair in shock as I recognized the Fred V & Grafix track on the compilation, Auckland Sunrise, as something I most definitely had heard before. It was a remastered, slighty changed version of 'Raise Your Mind', an unreleased tune by Fred V from around 2011. The resemblance of the two tracks is simply uncanny.

One of the first Grafix tracks ever to be online (myspace days), Colour is a signature Grafix tune and definitely one of my favorites of his. Track is from around 2008-2009.

The first ever collaboration between Fred V and Grafix, this track was made sometime around late 2010/early 2011 I believe, when they were both around 16 years old. To me, this track encapsulates the sound and feeling that is Fred V & Grafix, an absolutely beautiful arrangement of sounds.

Fred V & Grafix - And Now (Sarsy Edit + Extension)

To The Point is a jazzy, laid-back liquid banger by Fred V. It's almost so smooth that you'd think Grafix produced this. I suspect this was made around the same time as Angry Jazzer, i.e. 2010-2011.

Fred V - To The Point (Sarsy Extension)

This track is so damn good and personally I think it's because the horns in the background remind me of Memro's legendary Altitude, which was made at the same time. To me, this track really refined the unique style of drum & bass that Grafix became known for almost a decade ago and helped shape his future productions. 

Most other clips online are from Crissy Criss' 1Xtra Dnb Show from February 2011, this clip however is taken from the November 2011 Ministry of Sound Radio podcast and features some slight modifications from the earlier version together with my removal of MC as well as the usual extension of the clip. Track is from 2011.
