Esteemed Goan dance producer Anish Sood unveils his third release on Anjunadeep under his Anyasa alias. Out June 20, the ‘Apollo EP’ follows his ‘Gaya’ and ‘Athena’ EPs, which have, between them, accumulated over 2.7 million streams, as well as coverage from outlets including Mixmag and Rolling Stone India.

Anyasa is an accomplished DJ and live act, as showcased in multiple set recordings online, including his performance for the launch of Mixmag’s Lab in Goa. He will also be touring internationally this summer, and following a trio of sets at Anjunadeep’s Explorations festival, he will be heading to North America, playing in cities including Toronto, Chicago and San Francisco, alongside a stop at Anjunadeep’s takeover of the Brooklyn Mirage on July 7.

Anyasa has, with his consistent, club-focused productions and energetic performances, earned support from tastemaking DJs including Maceo Plex, Joris Voorn and Marsh, and his new ‘Apollo EP’ is set to reach similar heights. Across the four tracks, Anyasa draws inspiration from the rich cultural tapestry of India, and skilfully marries traditional Indian instrumentation and vocalists with modern electronic dance sounds, making for a unique, yet entirely signature release from the talented producer.

‘Systems Of Substance’ is the newest EP from the boss of Renegade Methodz, showcasing his updated style and vision for the future of his music. Establishing what already started with the ‘Futur Akustik’ release, Endlec’s sound is changing and evolving to something more minimal and loopy with a very strong fundamental groove but still keeping intact his distinct raw sound with significant style and class. 
Flip the record and ‘Fortification’ kicks the sound system down with its impressive force. It holds nothing back. Moody and obscure with its metallic rides and 909 hi-hats on top of a high pressure groove that sounds best in dark basements.  Classic techno music for the purists.  
This is a four track EP of Proper Techno by one of Greece’s most respected contributors to the genre.

It’s extremely gratifying for us to see that we’re about to slate our 20th release on the label.

Born from a necessity for us to showcase the fantastic talent that has graced the booth at our parties, friends of the label, and incredible online acquaintances that we’ve made from the traction gained from our releases, G.O.R.D.A (Greatest Originals & Remixes Dropped Æver)
aims to pinpoint some of the essential tracks that define our labels first 10 releases, our ethos and sound.

This compilation materialises itself from our artists capability to craft well-defined, sophisticated Techno, equal parts heavy-hitting and elegant, some drenched in nebulised atmosphere, some gritty, broken, and carefully etched into walls of static noise.

It’s been a tough task for us to gather just 10 tracks from a slew of stellar EPs and VAs that have made us infinitely proud of the talent we are surrounded by. We are overwhelmed by all the great music we’ve been able to release and thank all the artists for their music, and all the supporters for keeping our music in circulation, and our projects ever growing.

If you’re new to Gordo Trax, we hope this can be a taster for our labels music and all the great artists who have made it, and we hope this can push you to explore the rest of our catalogue.
