So this is what happens when a band writes songs in a secluded cabin in the italian mountains and then takes these songs on a pub tour from Munich to Dublin and back. On the debut album “Farewell to Fate” (Release: Oct 11th 2013) one can almost feel the sweat and taste the beer that accompanied the song's journey. If there is one band that deserves a pint or two then it is Young Chinese Dogs. This band only plays acoustic instruments that they can carry with their own two hands to the gig. No more, no less.

"Chameleon" is a celebration and coming together of a massive mix of different styles, and represents the way my sound draws from my experiences traveling the world playing wherever the next opportunity took me. Taking in the sights, sounds and smells of all these places and finding a feeling of home wherever I ended up by adapting, learning and listening to the way different people live has shaped the way I write and perform. It's not worth a try telling you that 26-year-old Sascha Reske isn't THE typical folky singer/songwriter - you know that by now. It is at first glance Sascha defines himself through-out his variety in sound and lyrics rather than his behaviour or fashion. Seeing him on stage gives you an impression of a totally demanding process which is actually happening while performing - absolutely focussed on the music - not the trappings -but still with a touch of genuinely authenticity. Influenced by LIFE, LOVE and LATITUDE he creates more of a musically adventure than just filling venues with his wide-ranged and charming voice.
