Words from the artist: "I’ve never recorded such a long studio mix before and since we all can't play parties anymore, it felt good to do it. The mix reflects an all-night long set as I would play it right now, compressed into 3:33 hours. The evening starts with warm and smooth breakbeat tunes in the first half hour and are then followed by smooth deep house tracks. After that we go straight into the night with a wild ride between Progressive House and Melodic Techno. Besides some new stuff from myself I will also present upcoming releases from my label Radikon". 

BIO: Spirited emotion is the protagonist in Jonas Saalbach’s brand of electronic dance music. Deeply uplifting and body-moving, he has released eps and long players with Einmusika, Bedrock and his own imprint Radikon. Hailing from a small town in southern Germany, Jonas moved to Berlin at a young age to pursue the dream of bringing his musical vision to the world stage. A decade later, he has performed at hundreds of locations on five continents, the world-renowned Burning Man and Fusion festivals and a cliff in the Norwegian fjords for a sensational back to back Cercle performance with Einmusik broadcasted to millions of viewers. As a producer, Jonas is exceptionally prolific. His sophisticated, hardware-based style gives unusual and particular sounds a new life, morphing them into timeless dancefloor anthems filled with emotion and percussive energy. In 2018, Jonas co-founded electronic music imprint Radikon as a platform for like-minded artists. Based at his studio in the historic Funkhaus complex in Berlin, Radikon has become a collaborative epicenter with 20 critically acclaimed releases in its first two years alone. Jonas’ energetic live performance and singular brand of melodic house and techno has enthralled listeners and club-goers around the globe. As a producer, DJ, live act and label owner, he will remain a driving force in electronic music for years to come.

Liebe und Meer ist Greifswald

Driving, hypnotic & dreamy – a track I wrote in New Zealand between sun, clouds and heavy winds, feeling completely at peace.

I produced Queen Diva in New Zealand – somewhere between sun and clouds, strong winds and plants that didn’t move at all.

It was one of those strange, quiet moments where nature feels both powerful and completely at peace. I felt calm, grounded and detached from my usual noise and expectations.

This was the first track I made with a brand new synth plugin, so a lot of my focus went into sound design and texture – letting the synth lead me instead of overthinking everything.

The result is driving, hypnotic and dreamy:
a steady pulse that keeps pushing forward, wrapped in floating atmospheres and details you only catch when you really listen.

For me, Queen Diva is that feeling of standing in the wind, but feeling completely still inside.

🎧 Best experience: late at night, with headphones on.

Urodzony w Polsce, dorastający w Bułgarii. Dla Dona Padre, miłość do muzyki elektronicznej rozpoczęła się w 1994 roku. Zapoznany z albumem „Music for the Jilted Generation” zespołu The Prodigy przez kuzyna z Bułgarii, potężne brzmienia utworów „No Good” i „Voodoo People” rozpaliły w nim pasję, którą sam opisuje jako palące uczucie, napędzające jego twórczą siłę. To formacyjne doświadczenie zrodziło się z wcześniejszego uznania dla elektronicznej sztuki Jeana-Michela Jarre'a. Pod koniec lat 90. Don Padre mieszkał w Bułgarii, pozostając pod silnym wpływem niemieckiego ruchu techno, legendarnego Westbam i jednoczącego ducha Love Parade. Był to również złoty okres dla trance'u, a artyści tacy jak Armin van Buuren i Tiësto kształtowali jego muzyczny krajobraz. W tym okresie rozpoczął swoją przygodę z DJingiem, grając na prywatnych imprezach rave. Zanurzony w tej kulturze, doświadczył energii festiwalu Metropolis w Bułgarii (1999) i Mayday w Polsce (2003).  Po przeprowadzce do Londynu w 2004 roku i podziwianiu inspirujących występów swoich idoli, Don Padre wykorzystał te doświadczenia, doskonaląc swoje umiejętności DJ-skie. Dziś, mieszkając w Londynie, tworzy płynne narracje dźwiękowe w gatunkach techno, trance, tribal afro latino house i progressive house, dostępne na SoundCloud
