Beautiful Trash (Lanu House Dub Edit)

Agoria has turned in another huge edit before the year runs out and this time it's of Metronomy. We recently premiered the rolling house rework of 'I'm Aquarius' and now Agoria has worked his magic over 'Love Letters'.

This one has been smashed by the likes of Dixon, Joris Voorn and Gesaffelstein and it's easy to see why. With builds that keep on building and a dark feel from the off, this is another example of why we love Agoria so much.

"Change was a very big track for me and Martin Stimming. Almost a year later we thought it would be a laugh if we did a track called "StaytheSame". Stimming enlisted the mastery of Dave Pezzner and well the track was born. Rather than releasing the song on a  label or offering it up for sale, we decided to give the  the track up for free as a gift. A form of thanks to you our fans for all the great support. Cadenza is always committed to bringing new artists and more abstract dance sounds to the forefront, and Eduardo De La Calle’s Cadenza debut is a terrific example of the forward thinking, musical vision of the label.  Having released a steady stream of vinyl 12”s on his Analog Solutions label, the Spanish DJ and producer flexes his other-worldy electronics on Luciano’s ten year old imprint.

‘Pink Water’ takes a minimal groove and splashes analog drops over a searing synth background, its melancholic melodies snaking in and around the joyous spring reverb FX of the machines, creating a very unique and commanding track. 

On the B side, ‘Madhusudhana’ is built upon a feint jazz funk loop, with shuffling hats and breathy atmospherics working off the heavy oscillations, coming over like a long lost Planet E release.  Third track, ‘The Sneak’, continues the ‘Precursors’ theme of ‘machine music’, a rubbery beat welcomes in the trippy and psychedelic synth work, a delicate melody plays behind a heavy, groaning wave, pinging against the reverberating hits, providing another memorable and abstract track.
