We are happy to continue to tell our story of THE SUNSET MANIFESTO! The world needs more smooth, modern, Sunset Disco/Nu-Disco to light up the messy times. 
This time we asked super funky french producer ANORAAK to do one of his signature nu-disco remixes for Kimchii’s “Windsurf” (original featured on THE SUNSET MANIFESTO), and this collaboration is another match made in heaven.


ANORAAK:
Anoraak is Frédéric Rivière, a French musician, multi instrumentalist, singer, producer and DJ from Marseille. He has established himself in the last years as a leading force in the sunset inspired nu-disco scene. He used to be part of the band Pony Pony Run Run, released 3 albums and many more tracks on influential electronic labels Eskimo Recordings, Naïve before forming his own imprint Endless Summer Music, his latets EP came out on Yuksek’S Partyfine. He remixed Neon Indian, Junkie XL and Mika a.o.


KIMCHII: 
New Stockholm-based producer, DJ and performer Kim Söderlund, Kimchii already has a characteristic dreamy yet danceable, hazy sound. “Windsurf” which we present here, finds a Swedish producer in French riviera mood at sunset (when else?). Satie-esque touches abound and when you open your eyes you might be unsure of the time... 
2019 was a landmark year for Kimchii, collaborating with DJ duo Rebecca & Fiona, 
producing the track ”One More Night” (Kimchii Remix). His debut single “When You 
Feel The Time Is Right” was released the following year, by Kitsuné Musique, 
followed by a second single ”Free Mind”, which was released on Rebecca & Fionas 
label - Big Romantic Music. We shall politely speculate that ‘Free Mind’ is clearly an 
insight into the inspiration this new artistic career has provided. Recently Too Slow 
To Disco was honoured to premiere the NICOLAAS remix of „Free Mind“.

Kimchii - Windsurf (Anoraak Remix) - on Too Slow To Disco NEO

"Karpaty" sanatorium was closed in 2012 and leaved several empty buildings surrounded by forests and mountains. Hundreds of empty room numbers, furniture, doors and glass tablets from the abandoned treatment cabinets, as well as old journals with receipts for unknown visitors of the past - little spooky city. During Station Karpaty party, few of sanatorium locations was spiritualized by music, lights and +250 merry strangers from all over the world.

Mix by Paris-born, Tokyo-raised, Berlin-based DJ Alex From Tokyo (@alexfromtokyo) from Pearl Bar stage. Low speakers exploded in the middle of his set, which immersed audience in the underwater kingdom of the giant shell on the dance floor. Or Chuhaister realms, since we're talking about Carpathian and a frantic dance that shoes can't stand.

20220307 Dj Deep Open Library

Janary 20th 2024 was a very special day for Too Slow To Disco and Dj Supermarkt, as we celebrated the 10th year of our TSTD residency at Monarch Berlin Club, and also finished the residency on the same night.

This is a live recording of 3:30 hours of peaktime smooth disco dancing turning...not so smooth.... ! 

Thanks so much to everybody who came, smiled and danced with us. We had an incredible time, but there were a few very deep emotional highlights, that brought tears in our eyes....:

and biggest of all and probably my highlight moment of the night:
"You get what you give" by New Radicals (some unknown edit from years ago....), that blew the roof of the place:

The night and TSTD have always been about being a dreamer, so what a beautiful statement!
A very special thanks goes out to those of you, who attended the night regularly, some since day one. I love you!

The Ivory Boy is the pseudonym behind Italian DJ and producer Luca Spinogatti  Based in Berlin, Germany, he regularly performs in the city’s many clubs and venues. Besides his solo project, he performs live with Mop Mop Soundsystem.

DJ extraordinaire and production whizz Corrado Bucci becomes the latest star in the Local Talk and Compost Records galaxy. The hype is on and Corrado has already started gathering a reputation within the house music community with his symphonic sound. He is currently working with labels like Compost Records, Wonderwheel Recordings, Local Talk and BBE Recordings.

 

Corrado Bucci is a young talent born in 1988… a kid who started playing piano, keyboards and digital machines cultivating dreams of glory. With the single "23 Years Old" followed by the remix for the Japanese duo Bocca Grande, Corrado Bucci signed his debut on Rebirth Records in 2012, where he also now holds an A&R and scouting position.

 

His music has a melodic vein and fuses his signature symphonic sound with the afro-latin, jazz and funk culture vibe. He also explored new musical territories with the inclusion of live instruments and a groove out of the ordinary. In May 2013 Rebirth released the "Chewing Bubble" EP (licensed later to Defected Records) and in 2014 "Open Your Eyes", remixed by Andrès (Moodymann / Mahogani), gaining respect from DJs like Gilles Peterson, Rainer Trueby, Jimpster, Tensnake and Joey Negro to name just a few.

From Disco To Disco - could be described as the motto of Sash Moustache. 

His passionate love for music was strong inspirated from the record collection of his father which offers a wide range of different styles of music from Pop, Funk, Soul & Disco to R’n’b and New Jack Swing. 

Started as a bedroom DJ in the late 1990's he's arrived for now in his individual creative style mixing elements of NuDisco, House, Disco-Edits, Indie-Dance, Funk, Soulful & Jazz House. So it’s no surprise that this guy with a preference for velvet jackets, fancy stuff and quirky japanese gadgets, already performed as support for Hercules & Love Affair, Dimitri From Paris, The Magician oder G.I. Disco from Berlin.
