Intense key patterns that are as twisted as they are uplifting. Check! Beautiful melodies that seamlessly interlock with each element. Check! Big-sounding, infectious grooves and killer hooks generously sprinkled with the infamous Fitzpatrick magic over the top. CHECK! In short, this EP is everything we have come to expect from Alan over his long history with Drumcode (this is his 10th EP as a solo artist!), but still his sound remains fresh and super-charged for 2014.

After a storming 2014 with releases on VIVA, Quartz and Snatch Off, ONNO is back with his first EP for 2015 on Adam Beyer's acclaimed Truesoul label. For this 3 track EP, ONNO explores the more techno focussed part of his sound, while retaining that bottom heavy, hip hop inspired groove that he is renowned for. 

The title track, aptly named "Techno Jam" kicks off proceedings with a bang. Straight up heavy techno beats are broken up by a processed vocal snippet before bringing everything back full force. On the flipside we find “Come On”. For this track, ONNO follows a less-is-more approach, focussing on just one hypnotizing melody line and blending this with a looped hip-hop vocal to create a dancefloor cut. Digital only track “Breakbeat Bats” completes the package with some analog synths and heavy 909 rides. All in all, this is essential stuff.

People go mad ;) I used the same “Shepard Tone” (rising sound) plug-in that I used in my track “Total Departure” which came out on Drumcode in 2008 and added yet another crazy siren sound on top of it. Setting the levels high with their first two EPs, We Do What We Want and Friday Night Dancing, the third comes from talented UK producer, Boxia, and a ferocious sounding two-track EP titled, Colour Sequence.
We're are delighted to be premiering single, “Colour Sequence Orange”, which strikes like thunder from the very first second, but is gloriously tamed by ethereal pads and a dreamy single-note piano top-line as it develops. 

Three standout releases in three for We Are The Brave and an impressive return to form for Boxia, who, although not the most prolific of producers, pulls out the stops on each and every release — quality over quality is no bad thing. With such an assured sound being developed on each release, Boxia is going to give 2017 an absolute battering.

DEAS comes back to Second State with his brand new ‘Red Source’ EP following the extremely well received ‘Velocity’EP earlier this year. In true DEAS fashion he delivers four dance floor burners of high pace, abrasive yet euphoric Techno that will turn any rave into a moment of full fledge mayhem.
Diving in head first, ‘Red Source’ has the “pedal to the metal” where brisk percussion lays the ground work for sonic bleeps and eery vocals reminiscent of an excursion into deep space travel. ‘Face To Face’ follows suit with the same approach and concept yet relies more heavily on the drums to do the heavy lifting. Maintaining the pace and sticking to his signature tools, DEAS takes his sound palette and switches out the programming of expected sounds creating a surprisingly cool cut with ‘Second Signal’. Finalizing the EP, ‘Poison’ saves the ethereal and haunting sonics for last where eery harmonies hover over cinematic aural sparkles and an undeniably infectious groove emanating into an absolutely gorgeous yet chilling composition ideal for the more emotional Techno moments.

Sasha Carassi, hailing from Napoli, is a DJ, producer and composer whose style spans eclectically across the electronic landscape.
Sasha began his musical journey during the first years of the 90's, working as resident DJ at Dinamik, the most famous club in the area, when he was only 15. Influenced by House Music and Breakbeat, he has ventured into the production world, releasing his first album in 2002, after which followed a slew of well-received singles that cemented his reputation as producer. But 2010 was a massive year for Sasha production-wise, with releases on a host of big labels including the mighty Drumcode and Bedrock. This saw him make his presence known in the darker, big-room oriented side of the genre. Sasha loves the studio and his output is always visceral and atmospheric with trademark touches that makes his tunes instantly recognizable, perfectly proved in his “Picture” on Solomun’s Diynamic, where he shows his change of musical direction. Nowadays, in fact, he doesn't love defining himself with a proper genre because for him it is really limiting, but he loves feeling free to express his emotions, trying to mix and balance the different influences.
In 2009 he founded one of the most respected Techno labels “Phobiq”, releasing killer cuts discovering many talents as well as his own, but he broke away from it to launch his new label “ILINX”, which fully reflects his views on music. 
Avid vinyl collector since the late 80’s, now he can boast a wide range of records, from the classic to the most contaminated electronic music. Known as a “seasoned veteran”, Sasha is revered within the electronic music scene for his skills and work ethic.
