Foremost international techno outlet Drumcode is delighted to announce the release of its next full-length album, ‘Satellite’, by enduring Italian techno talent Sam Paganini.

Though he has been active since the mid nineties, recent years have been hugely successful for Sam, with searing techno EPs coming on revered labels such as Riche Hawtin’s Plus8, Sven Vath’s Cocoon and of course, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode. In his time he has been responsible for underground hits like ‘Zoe’, ‘Polyester’ and ‘Fire In My Arms’, all of which demonstrate his dynamic understanding of sexy, dark and hypnotic techno grooves and at the same time have earned him plenty of great Beatport chart positions as well as respect from the best in the game.

Incredibly, ‘Satellite’ is Sam’s first full-length album. Informed by his DJ gigs at legendary places like Berghain in Berlin and Cielo in New York, the album starts with a dystopian bit of sonic scene setting, as if a space ship is charging up ready to take off.

From there it’s a case of getting straight down to business. ‘Another Chance’ is a spacey bit of cantering techno and ‘White’ is rooted in devastating kick drums and is riddled with serrated synth lines that build lots of great techno pressure. ‘Down’ is an undulating bit of funky techno complete with choice vocal flourishes and tracks like ‘Lotus’ are prime offerings from the deeper end of the scale.

No two tracks sound the same on Satellite: Sam is always teasing out a new bit of texture, nailing a slightly different vibe or exploring different amounts of light and dark throughout the course of this most excellent album. This is evidenced by diverse cuts like ‘Dusty’, ‘Toxic’ and ‘Rave’.

Despite ‘Satellite’ being Sam’s debut album, it showcases his seductive style in all its glory across 12 fantastic tracks that will leave you begging for more.

Today's release sees Giorgio Gigli (Prologue Music, Zooloft, Electric Deluxe, Elettronica Romana, etc.) sign two original tracks and a remix of one of the most important artists of the past few years: Terence Fixmer (Electric Deluxe, Prologue Music, etc.). Together, their approach creates something special and unique. In its original track Giorgio Gigli delivers the best of its hypnotic and psychedelic techno. A great atmosphere, where the ambient pads meet the dark bass sound which made Giorgio one of the most significant artists in the new techno scene. The side closes with an ambient session; a drone of pure electronic,dark synth, making the idea of the state of mind of his own individual unconscious.Terence Fixmer's version is decidedly more rough, stripped of certain atmospheres, highlighting a more hypnotic and repetitive attitude. This rough sounds have for many years marked Terence Fixmer as an icon of the techno world. 
This is a great release of modern techno!

After wowing everyone with his release on our sister label Forensic, we now welcome Sean Harvey to Twelvepoint. Seans productions are revered by all of the big hitters in the industry with his releases regularly appearing in sets from Sasha , Digweed, Pappa and Nick Muir to name just a few…

Sean delivers a darker, drum - leaning cut with “Give It To Them!”. Built around a deep rolling bassline and his trademark percussive detail — glitchy textures and tribal toms — the track drives forward with a hypnotic groove. Surging pads and shifting chords weave in and out, adding tension while keeping the energy locked firmly heads-down. As the arrangement unfolds, vocal fragments emerge to heighten the atmosphere, punctuated by the timeless refrain: “Give it to them.” The result is a tightly crafted, immersive club tool that holds the floor from first beat to last.

With “The Dawn”, he gives us another driving yet deep cut, this time infused with a touch of old-school character. A weighty bassline and trademark toms form the backbone, while sharp chord stabs and vintage-tinged harmonies cut through the groove to add a classic edge. The track balances nostalgia with forward momentum, building an infectious energy that keeps the floor locked in from start to finish.

Every raver has their sunrise story. It usually takes place around 6 AM, after dancing all night, when the first rays of light usher in a new musical energy, something wild and magical. It’s the kind of moment people romanticize for years, even decades after. Such was the desired effect of Luzon’s 2002 classic Manila Sunrise. The tune contains a raw, tribal energy that few others can claim. Drawing influence from the Goa scene, it’s twirling pads and majestic vocal made it an instant progressive house staple that redefined the genre. We’re proud to bring back this insatiable classic for our fifteenth Yoshitoshi Classic remix pack, with contributions from three of today’s finest producers — label owner Sharam, Swiss studio ace Khainz, and New York techno legend Boris.

Sharam’s remix adds some modern flare to the original's progressive nature. He injects some dark, drum n’ bass-inspired sounds, a catchy new melody, and a beautiful, pad-and-vocal driven breakdown that transports listeners and club-goers to another dimension. Khainz makes his Yoshitoshi debut with a remix that boasts a myriad of stabs, effects, and other synth wizardry over a driving, tech house groove. His monstrous builds give away to exhilarating, unapologetic release. Finally, Boris transforms the track into a percussion-driven monstrosity that smacks of the classic New York 90's techno sound. The mix itself is built around banging drums and heavy bass, while the original’s delicate vocal contrasts the brutal nature of his remix, creating a powerful sonic dichotomy. Sasha Carassi, hailing from Napoli, is a DJ, producer and composer whose style spans eclectically across the electronic landscape.
Sasha began his musical journey during the first years of the 90's, working as resident DJ at Dinamik, the most famous club in the area, when he was only 15. Influenced by House Music and Breakbeat, he has ventured into the production world, releasing his first album in 2002, after which followed a slew of well-received singles that cemented his reputation as producer. But 2010 was a massive year for Sasha production-wise, with releases on a host of big labels including the mighty Drumcode and Bedrock. This saw him make his presence known in the darker, big-room oriented side of the genre. Sasha loves the studio and his output is always visceral and atmospheric with trademark touches that makes his tunes instantly recognizable, perfectly proved in his “Picture” on Solomun’s Diynamic, where he shows his change of musical direction. Nowadays, in fact, he doesn't love defining himself with a proper genre because for him it is really limiting, but he loves feeling free to express his emotions, trying to mix and balance the different influences.
In 2009 he founded one of the most respected Techno labels “Phobiq”, releasing killer cuts discovering many talents as well as his own, but he broke away from it to launch his new label “ILINX”, which fully reflects his views on music. 
Avid vinyl collector since the late 80’s, now he can boast a wide range of records, from the classic to the most contaminated electronic music. Known as a “seasoned veteran”, Sasha is revered within the electronic music scene for his skills and work ethic.
