So, it has been a little while since I've dropped a free download. This time, I bring you "Beat It Up" written by myself, UFO! & Jesse Slayter. This is a cool, bouncy 100 bpm tune, loaded with all sorts of interesting samples (even a horse?). 


I recently broke 6,000,000 plays, and it's crazy to see the numbers grow on here, since Soundcloud is essentially how I launched this Bro Safari project. With that being said, I love y'all and I can't thank you enough for all of the love and support you've shown me over the last few years!

Last week's show was definitely one of my favorites to date. It's weird how things work. It's the shows that I feel most unprepared for that end up doing well... maybe it's because I just really freestyle and go off of my whole library of music rather than trying to curate a specific vibe. It was hard to top last week's show but I did my best to really take it right back to the early beat era from 2008-2012 and played some current gems as well. I hope you enjoy this. I'll be back next week with a guest maybe.

What a year it's been! This was definitely our year; we put in so much work the past 3 years to set ourselves up for the future and  we wouldn't be here without you. There were so many great releases, tracks, new artists who emerged that it is literally impossible to cover everyone. I went through all of my playlists from this whole year by each month and compiled 220+ tracks. But I was only able to get through 103 tracks. Don't be mad if you were an artist who  had a lot of play on our radio show this year and didn't make the cut... it has nothing to do with it not being good enough.. it was more about just the flow and vibe of this session. 

This isn't your typical best of session where we go in order by EP,s albums, artists.. it's just a freestyle.. no favoritism.. everyone is winning; SOULECTION STYLE! 

We love ya'll and look forward to another great year ahead of us. Happy 2015, be safe out there and we'll catch you Saturday, January 10th with Show #200!! We're taking this weekend off. God bless.
