Jealousy

It was December of 2010, coming off of a lot of problems from failed project productions and severed ties from people I considered very close to me. Ildi and I, sat and pondered for what felt like months but was only a couple days. We were trying to figure out why The Beautiful Curse was halted. Probably because of some of my own selfishness trying to put out 4 videos with nothing finished. I was supposed to put out a single produced by a huge producer which fell through. Lesson? Never working with people that are concerned about taking your money more than the music. Anyways, I felt as if I kept fucking up. Which I was, cus you can try to justify your actions based on others reactions but at the end of the day We Live With The Choices We Make... 

So I left those 3 videos and 1 undone (which was probably the sickest one in that time frame) and moved on from The Beautiful Curse (which was probably one of the dopest compilation tapes that would have dropped. PERIOD!) and started writing. Ildi A&R'd the project meaning he gave me about 30 instrumentals to write to, developed the site, shot and edited the video for All I Can Be, and helped me develop a plan for the project. The whole project was written in 1 week. Mercilless (my engineer) was brought into the picture through an Emcee in the circle named AK and we started messing with him after we sat in a session for AK. NASTY! Thats all i remember... NASTY!

We were finished production in middle of January and started shooting the All I Can Be video. During this time I met up with my guitar buddy from Trebas named Alex, he was working on a project and needed my help and I needed his with some guitar parts. We started writing again and I put Thoughts From Last Place on hold. We wrote 12 tracks in 1 month and kept it going, and I placed the TFLP project on complete hold without a thought. I regret this decision... 

We are here now though, and the title Thoughts From Last Place means more than ever before. I have nothing except my Family, Close Friends, and Woman of My Dreams. I am blessed to have each part since some people have none of the above. But in regards to the music as well as "social standard", some may say, I am at the bottom with nothing to lose. I look at it as if I have everything to gain, with peers and family looking with disgust since they had such a high regard for me which has been tarnished. 

This album is My Heart. My Soul. My Emotions. My Feelings. My Anger. My Tears. My Pain. My EVERYTHING. 

This Album is NOT a dance records. It is NOT a happy record. It is an Honest Record. Thats why I wrote this, to be honest with everyone. 

I love music, but somewhere in the past year I have lost my love of creating it. Sometimes I get happy when I sing or rap a dope 16 and people look with a smile or astonishment. I just like releasing my feelings. 

So here we are, December 12 2012, and I'm actually writing this a couple hours before releasing the content. I just want those who listen to understand me, if you can relate then I hope this music helps you feel that your not alone with the struggles. The last thought I have from last place is "Theres always someone who has it worse, so look at the brighter side of the picture and thank God for what you have today. We are not promised tomorrow!"

Emika 3 Hours (AarchR tripstep revision)

This is based around a chord progression I came up with about a year and a half back and never really used - I liked the progression instantly, but it took a long time and a lot of variation through different styles to come up with this version. Plus, now with added bass.

Untitled rap instrumental idea (feedback wanted) (rapper/mc needed)

I got some new drum kits including one full of drums Danja has used and made this in about 2 minutes flat yesterday but I like the foundation so I'm gonna expand on it with more instruments and maybe some violins. This was only 6-7 layers or so but I think it goes really hard with the few elements alone.
