Mesbah Ghamsari’s thick baritone timbre inseparably intertwined with Shashaa’s husky, poignant vocals forms the vocal bed of the songstresses freshest concoction - Hoon Galat. Inspired by the Persian ‘Avaaz’ style of composition, this song is of reflection and acceptance of having made the wrong decisions in matters of the heart. A line to conclude on the repercussions of being stubborn for the “wrong one” translates to “the moon burns via the reflection of the sun, while you steal my light to glow”, hinting towards selflessness, sacrifice and deep wounds. Composed, written and sung by Shashaa Tirupati, music produced and arranged by Iranian multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Mesbah Ghamsari.

'Maari', translating to 'torrential rain' in Tamil, is a song that exudes a silent sense of passion, seduction and intimacy dovetailed with the age-old romance of rains, in all its intensities. The graph of mystery unfolding in this 'passion' is expressed not only via a composition based on a pop-culturally rare Raga, Madhukauns, but also in an unconventional time signature of 5/8 and the eccentric combination of Persian instrumentation - the Ney, Tombak, Daf and Bamkaman - to portray the universality of love and its sound.
