Dutch producer Lennart debuts on KopjeK Records’ second release with a 4-track electro EP called “Vitamin D”. It features three originals; the Italo and Trance infused club track called “Koalas March” is on the A-side, accompanied by the more dreamy “Vitamin D”. On the other side there is “I Don’t Know Your Life”, a more sentimental approach, which was made together with his partner in crime Lola. French producer Kendal, well known for his releases on Dischi Autunno, Moustache Records and Ritmo Fatale, is on remix duty. He took “I Don’t Know Your Life” for a more old school electro ride. The release came together in the first big lockdown in The Netherlands. The wierd times of having to stay home and not being able to play gave Lennart the opportunity and inspiration to create this stellar EP. Early support comes from the likes of Biesmans, Tjade, DC Salas, Mouissie & Miimo.

On a interrompu Ano Poli en plein rangement de skeuds pour qu’il enregistre ce podcast. Il avait manifestement le nez bien enfoncé dans les disques IDM, Acid, Break… même si ses influences sont bien plus vastes. Remarqué à Nantes via les projets de Big City Life (les Écuries, le 23) ou les soirées Mascarade du Ferrailleur, il a aussi eu l’occasion de résider en Allemagne, en Grèce et à Chypre (et donc d’y faire suinter quelques dancefloors).

A hopeful uplfting track about wanting to have someone's back, and truly believing they can succeed through their own strength. Letting them soar if you will through the clouds, because they gave you something, and you want to recipricate.

I must have gone through hundreds of iterations of this tune trying to get the right balance, but it's hard because it relies on a synth that is meant to fill the stereo like an electric mist. Little too much and it gets fuzzy, too little and it feels empty.
