Just for fun. 

I shared a rehearsal space in the basement of Westbeth Artist Housing (please see the photo) in the late 70’s. This music has to do with my dream-memory of the place.

The basement was labyrinthine. Until a few years ago, I still had recurring dreams of that environment. It was constructed of grey painted cinder block or some such stony material. There were many bands in many rooms down there, and as you walked the halls you’d hear all the musics leaking out from under steel doors in cacophony. Often you’d hear the band in the next cell right through your own stone wall as you were playing. That made it hard to record in there. We did it anyway. 

The sonic qualities of this recording remind me of those hallways as do some of the somewhat antiquated guitar moves. And by the way, I love antiquated guitar moves!

President Zelenskyij and the Ukrainian people are heroes! We all must support them and be kind to them. Dear President Trump - You may not abandon Ukraine. They have a hell there. President Putin and his government must be completely out of their minds. They are sooo cruel. How do the Russian people react?? Are they ashamed?? They are probably being deceived!

It was hard when neighbors attacked their land - they were surprised
They can’t understand what is the reason for this bloody attack
they haden’t done anything nasty which could motivate this assault
the motive was probably a sign of greed


The invadors show signs of megalomania which are severe
it’s very serious and there are paranoic signs as well
but we don’t want any maniacs to rule the whole world
we want to have wise folks to rule
