Missing You

The idea for this piece and lyrics was initially born from trying to describe that particular moment when our mind is going to surrender to sleep, ready to break its mooring from things and events of the day and external world and it's getting ready  and open to enter in its own deeper world...
Sometimes, in that moment, in that passage, in that limbo,  something quite special and magic may happen... a flash of inspiration may suddenly lights, an idea, a decision, an answer, a consciousness, 
sudden and unexpected, from who knows where...sometimes the inspiration of a melody, a music, a notes sequence... 
From that initial cue the lyrics took on a more globally existential meaning.

Hello my dear friends. I seek and love music that gives me goosebumps.  I 'm looking for it through experiments with rhythms, sounds and harmony.  So far I haven't succeeded yet.  Music is my life. I’m Fred, 70 years, born in Diest, Belgium on August 8, 1954.  I am grateful for all the given likes and comments, for all the listeners and followers here on SC or on all the other streaming services where my music is publiced. From Wikipedia: In Greek mythology, a satyr, sater (UK /ˈsætə/, US /ˈseɪtər/;[1] Greek: σάτυρος satyros,[2] pronounced [sátyros]) is one of a troop of ithyphallic male companions of Dionysus with goat-like features and often permanent erection.[3] Early artistic representations sometimes include horse-like legs, but in 6th-century BC black-figure pottery human legs are the most common.[4] In Roman Mythology there is a concept similar to satyrs, with goat-like features: the faun, being half-man, half-goat, who roamed the woods and mountains.[5] In myths they are often associated with pipe-playing. Greek-speaking Romans often used the Greek term saturos when referring to the Latin faunus, and eventually syncretized the two. (The female "Satyresses" were a later invention of poets.)
