"“This was my first time playing Nowadays, and it was a huge privilege to perform in the space. The set was much different than I planned: I'd prepared 50 or so records and a digital playlist with about the same number of songs. When I got to the gig, an image flashed in my head of my USB still in the CDJs at my studio. I hoped it wasn't true, but my stick was in fact not with me, and it was vinyl or nothing.

Funny enough, this actually brought me a sense of relief. An element of bad luck or chaos acts as both a constraint as well as freedom from the self-imposed burden of perfection. I've jokingly projected this phenomenon into a deity called "The Hand". You can certainly hear working it in this mix. What begins as discomfort evolves into an exciting surrender to entropy.” - @30000AD
