When the combination is good, then it should not be changed. Already known duo from The Purr rooster, Fakir and Chrono, teamed up again to create this deep, a bit dark, and trippy house track. Totally different from what we used to hear from these lads, but yet again unique, as it should be. "Unrius" EP, beside their stellar original, has two remixes, one from debut artist, Andrew Becks, who showed class skills with the "Unrius" re-interpretation and a truly deep house soul, all the way from Mar Del Plata, Sebbe, whose remix is a treat for all deep house souls all over the world!

After an exciting summer for Los Suruba, the proud founders of Nazca Records and its fascinating story, it´s time to get back to discovering and sharing new music with the world. Alvaro and Delmar welcome Thimble, a talented lad from Malaga, to enrich this eclectic label furthermore. 

Therefore, Thimble becomes a witness of the Nazcas and Viracochas´ story, a tale that has captured us with its symbology and values. In previous releases, we´ve learned that the Viracochas, beings from another world and the Nazcas, a community of sensible music and art lovers have joined forces to beautify the world. 
Thimble´s ‘Signals’ EP shows us just that; it reveals through sound the complexity of the Nazcas and Viracocha´s ways and purpose to heal through music. 
 
You will embark on a four-track journey that starts with ‘Veritas’ where a metallic bizarreness will trap you, followed by ‘Opposite’ a hub of exhilarating synths and abstract ambiences. 
After this mature mix, Thimble thinks ‘Walking Among Trees’ is a good idea and he is right! 
This third track rich in inconspicuous percussions and unique FXs simulate a walk among the densest vegetation along a crystal-clear creek. Finally, yet importantly, ‘Tribute’ is the vibe changer. 

The sparkle to the entire EP, a mix of shamanic elements and pure house patterns that accolade sound and melody.

English pair Death on the Balcony come correct for their 2nd release on the Do Not Sit label, after the great success of their debut release ‘Rhythms Of The Universe’ EP in the summer. This is another fine offering that showcases their superbly stylish and emotive deep house tunes. 

The Death on the Balcony duo bring plenty of emotion, melody and groove to their take on house music. It has come on labels like All Day I Dream and taken them to gigs all over the world, where they lock down the club with their own distinctive style. They are touring the US this fall and right now make a real mark with these three new tracks. 

Lense Of Our Lives is the opener and is a swirling, pad laced day dream with gently uplifting chords and a zoned out groove to get lost in. Opia is more melodic, with magic keys dancing over the rubbery, ever rolling drums and it gets you in a real state of hypnosis, especially with the soulful and soft vocal sounds stitched into the rhythm. Last of all is Raining Sideways, a more upbeat track but still one layered with rich synths, astral chords and an expansive sense of atmosphere that is soothing to say the least. 

Once again then this is a classy outing.

Olivan is a Swiss DJ and producer who holds a residency at the much feted Club Nordstern in Basel. Having built his craft through his teenage years, joining the Nordstern family opened up a world of opportunities - performing around Europe and sharing a stage with the likes of Dixon, Solomun, Damian Lazarus, Acid Pauli, Nico Stojan, Lee Burridge and Black Coffee, just to name a few. Now Acid Pauli and Nico Stojan signed him to release this debut EP on their new sublabel Ouïe Circle. 
With the Anafra EP, Olivan affirms his ability to create magical moments from a few disparate elements. 
The title track is rooted around the percussion - with drums from all over the world were recorded and layered over a dreamy, deep background. In contrast, Panda is more pumping - a thick insistent bass drum sets the tone for a groove-laden bassline and rich, detailed synths and arps.

Second release, secondo lap, for the brand-new label Saturn Return. The coproduction between Robbie Akbal and Rowee fills the dance floors with dramatic melodies.
The lead synth seems to be perpetually shape-shifting, the overall mood is tense, powered by loops thick with bass and intensely hypnotic that you could listen to for hours.
After 3 minutes of straight clubbing, a ray of light enters with the voice of KnowKontrol, breaking the rules with soaring vocals like only he can.
It’s a fusion between the melancholy and the hopeful. Its deep reassuring embrace is hard to resist.

This kind of technique can cause dance floors to erupt. It’s unconventional dance music.

Dance Spirit signs the first remix of the label. The original's swung groove is replaced by a faster and straighter rhythm.
The clanging melody is amplified by a loud wall of bright pads, stabs full of touching tones and melodies that burrow into your brain. It will certainly get dance floors moving, opting for a heads-down vibe which splices jacking beats with twisted passages of psychedelic tones.

Audiofly’s Flying Circus Recordings curate a second volume of new music for their ‘Cross Borders’ series, with contributions from Brian Cid, Wild Dark & Ariaano, Sabo, Miyagi, Chambord and Joell.  ‘Cross Borders Volume 2’ spans across the house music spectrum, all united in the quality production, sophisticated sound sculptures and the great grooves packed into each of the tracks, music for late nights and early rises from the Flying Circus camp.

From the spiritually animated ‘Maka’ by Sol Selectas head honcho, Sabo, to the deep and hypnotic atmosphere summoned on Brian Cid’s ‘We Are Dreamers’, ‘Cross Borders Vol. 2’ brings together six tracks of magical quality from some of the scene’s hottest producers.  Miyagi (Supernature/Einmusika) delivers a brooding and melodious cut ‘Sadie Adler’ whilst Wild Dark team up with Ariaano for a deliciously driving and divine ‘Lyonesse’.  French duo, Chambord, contribute the bright and breezy ‘Pyramid & Sun’, whilst Joell wraps up this heavyweight edition of ‘Cross Borders’, deploying heavy sub bass and intricate melodies on ‘MTV’.

Brian Cid - We Are Dreamers (FCR021) [clip]

Outlandish Turkish-born, German resident SIS brings his unique style of house music to Detroit-based label Moteur Ville Musique with  Bargun . Set for release this September,  Bargun also features high-quality remixes from Detroit natives Lee Curtiss (Visionquest) and Ataxia.

Bargun is a ten-minute tale, brimming in mystical energy. Opening with an intricate rhythm, the track develops with sparkling melody, ethereal chords and lullaby chimes that will have dancefloor revellers closing their eyes whilst induced under  SIS ’s spell.
