In ancient times, Satyr was the horned messenger of Dionysos, the god of ritual intoxication. He hypnotized the youth of nearby villages, attracting them with the magical music of his flute, and made them dance till broad daylight.

In our common era, Satyr reincarnated in Amsterdam as a DJ. At age ten, he recorded his first mix, displaying his love for early hip hop and electro funk, and soon his tapes were in high demand. After the Second Summer Of Love, he was turned on by new dimensions of synthetic sound and ventured into the realms of acid-house, techno and trance.

Ever since the early 1990s, Satyr became a skilled player of the SL &amp; CDJ instruments, spinning various styles of eclectronica, scoping a wide range of the bpm spectrum with remarkable sparkle. Nowadays he is specialized in progressive / electro trance, psytrance, spacebeats &amp; ambidelic chillout, and plays on events for 50 to 50,000 visitors, serving his spicy melange of clean cuts and dirty grooves, grinding it up from raw to smooth.

On an eternal quest across the sonic universe, Satyr is currently mastering the artful crafts of Electronic Music Production, Sound Design &amp; Audio Engineering. Soon, his musical concoctions will be spiking a dancefloor near you!
