This month, we welcome Hristiana Radeva aka ERRORBEAUTY to the WM Guest mix series. I have been a huge fan for many years of this great vinyl DJ and producer, who also runs the label ARKADA.  

I am never disappointed when I listen to Errorbeauty's mixes and without fail need to take a trip to Discogs to pick up a few gems that she introduces me to!

ERRORBEAUTY sets are tough, gritty, industrial and banging, but always with that machine funk throughout.

Hristiana has also had tracks released on Zodiak Commune Records, Pyramid Transmissions, Zwaartekracht and her own Arkada label.

Errorbeauty has been meticulously piecing together her impressive catalogue of releases since beginning DJing back in 2003. A professional flute musician by way of background, she gradually became drawn to electronic music’s intricately textured soundscapes - more specifically the broken, aggressive shades of Detroit Electro and Techno.

Her work continues to evolve and offers listeners a distinct reflection of Motor City’s relationship with the genre whilst demonstrating her own unique perspective of Electro, which brought her four times to the legendary club Tresor.

While living in Berlin she has performed at Berlin’s underground event series Skizze in OHM as well as Bold, Exquisite Berlin and Disobedient Circumstance at Suicide Circus Berlin to name a few and was a resident Dj at the well respected Suicide Circus Berlin club.

In 2021 she was also invited to perform at the mighty Boiler Room X Faza Sofia that took place in her homeland Bulgaria. In 2022 she performed at the mighty Ombra festival in Spain and Funkroom in Vienna. While staying in her homeland she was invited to play in various events at Wake up Stranja festival and Cymatic club Varna. Next to come is the long waited The Dodo club spring jam in London on 4th of April.

Errorbeauty has previously released music for Arkada, Earthlings, Crobot Muzik, Combat Recordings, Section 27, Subsonic Device, The Electro Compendium, Zodiak Commune Records, Outlaw 303 and has contributed a track together with Serge Geyzel for Pyramid Transsmisions PTV15 compilation. Another track of her own on Zwaartekracht 3.A and a track of her production that was released on Pyramid Transmissions label from the amazing compilation Interstellar Communications Vol 2.1s and many more..

In 2018 together with XOR12, she launched the Electro/Techno record label Arkada Records with already 4 vinyl releases.

Arkada 004 featuring the sounds of ADJ and Adrien d’Elzius is now available in all around the shops in Europe, UK and US as well as on Arkadarecords website and Bandcamp pages where you can also get the full discography now available on digital format.

Recently she once again performed at Tresor/Berlin this time for the first ever WIGS night celebrating the International Woman’s Day.

Neutron stars are city-size stellar objects with a mass about 1.4 times that of the sun. Neutron stars, known to be the smallest stars, pack their mass inside a 20-kilometer diameter. They are so dense that a single teaspoon of them would weigh a billion tons. On average, gravity on a neutron star is 2 billion times stronger than gravity on Earth. In fact, it's strong enough to significantly bend radiation from the star in a process known as gravitational lensing, allowing astronomers to see some of the back side of the star.
The power from the supernova that birthed it gives the star an extremely quick rotation, causing it to spin several times in a second. The fastest-spinning neutron star known is PSR J1748-2446ad, rotating at a rate of 716 times a second or 43,000 revolutions per minute, giving a linear speed at the surface on the order of 0.24 c (i.e. nearly a quarter the speed of light).
There are thought to be around 100 million neutron stars in the Milky Way, a figure obtained by estimating the number of stars that have undergone supernova explosions. 
Slow-rotating and non-accreting neutron stars are virtually undetectable; however, since the Hubble Space Telescope detection of RX J185635-3754, a few nearby neutron stars that appear to emit only thermal radiation have been detected.

A former philosophy student with a particular interest in mysticism, Alienata began DJing in 2004. In conjunction with Valencia's Overflow Collective, she not only served as a resident DJ but also participated in theatre and music technology workshops as well as oversaw its label operations. Upon moving to Berlin in 2011, she quickly found an adoptive family in the Killekill label and associated Krake Festival. While primarily focusing on DJing, Alienata has released a few records as the project Kat Channel with Snuffo of the Snuff Crew. Recently she has launched a new record label called Discos Atónicos where she can materialize all its varied influences. Alienata is currrently preparing her solo productions; One spit EP with Beta Evers will be released in the coming months. This mix was an exclusive for Dark Science Electro.

2019 has unarguably been a great year for Electro both with overall visibility for the public as well as with the sheer number of quality releases being put out over the course of the year. With a newfound buzz surrounding my beloved genre, I'm hardly keeping up!
