So I worked on a new hardstyle project the other day and now its finished.
Not quite happy with the second melody of the first drop, but I maybe will release the projectfile to the LSP, so that you can remix it or do whatever else you want to do with.

As much as I love experimenting with sounds and synthesizers, I hate finishing songs. That's why the overall structure and the transitions may sound a bit forced, but I'm quite happy with the synths.

Random WIP #7

Time sure flies by fast. 

Wine breaking LeMeMeS's VST support really sabotaged my plans for this year's BoL. Since I never finish anything, this - now 3 years old - snippet was the only somewhat done thing I had lying around. It actually gained like one extra minute in the project file since then, but what am I gonna do, Wine hasn't been updated on my distro yet. (I didn't really like that extra minute anyway)

These are some clips/projects I "worked on" (not really) with as few external, non-default-LMMS resources as necessary in mind. (Not as few as possible though, so I wouldn't have to sacrifice sound quality.)

Idk. Most of the times I just wanted to test something, eg. multiband compression in dgh02. I figured uploading it to the LSP couldn't hurt, especially when I don't get anything else done. btw SoundCloud's RSS feeds are quite interesting. It seems that when you upload as either MP3 or M4A (maybe even OGG? haven't tested that yet), the original file will be published, regardless of whether downloads are enabled or not.

I wished I could've gotten the kick to kick a bit more, but it kinda seemed impossible without excessive amounts of sidechaining. But overall I'm quite happy with how this turned out, and it's always fun working with vocals and trying out new mixing stuff. So I'll just upload it now before I make it any worse, has been lying around way too long already, anyway. lol (plz lemme know in the comments if you got ideas on the kick thing.)
