The people who set my mind on fire growing up were Neil Young, MBV, Kate Bush, Sonic Youth, Spacemen 3, Prince, a lot guitary artists- but genres aren’t that interesting to me, I don’t care if you play a guitar or the spoons just make me feel something with your music, that’s what I’ve always wanted from other artists and that’s all I want to do for others.

I’ve been dealing with some severe personal challenges for more than a decade now, but music is what got me through it. And music can get you through anything - either listening to it or creating it can save people’s lives. Music is the closest thing to magic that still exists in the world. It makes no sense - it’s air moving around, it’s hitting cow skin with wood sticks, but it can transform your whole world for the duration of a song.
