Excited to share with you my very first set of 2024, recorded live at Ratherlost party at LoFi, Amsterdam on January 1st, 2024. 
It was truly one of the best NY shows I've ever been a part of. The club was completely packed and on fire as I took over the decks following Quelza & Nørbak’s incredible B2B set. My aim was to keep this massive momentum going while leading the floor on a journey to get lost in the music. Hope you can feel this mood and energy from the recording.

Pure Immanence Live at Nowadays Nonstop

For the seventh installment of our podcast series, we are happy to present you with the live recording of Antenes's set.

Having met Antenes nearly a decade ago in Taipei, we found her more than a natural match for our events: An esteemed and well-acclaimed sound designer, producer, and DJ, Antenes has a natural radar for the music that finds itself floating between soothing soundscapes, wistful textures, and the occasional, and possibly accidental acid kick, leaving listeners in, somewhat, surreal state, on the edges of reality and the liminal. In her own words, her music aims to "make us lose our sense of time." This is evident as her set meanders through different spheres over two hours, through gentle escapes, heavy turns, an occasional beat, and timeless drone loops, leaving listeners with a sonic journey in which time finds no place. 10年近く前に台北で出会ったAntenesが、私たちのイベントに自然と調和することは明らかで、この特別なセッションでは、彼女の長年にわたる経験、つまり高名なサウンドデザイナー、プロデューサー、DJの中で培われてきた感性が余すとこなく発揮されました。

彼女は、音楽に対する天性のレーダーを持っており、心地よいサウンドスケープ、切ないテクスチャー、アシッドキックの間を漂う音楽は、リスナーを現実と境界線の端にいるような、どこか超現実的（LIMINAL）な感覚へと適切な方法で案内します。彼女自身の言葉を借りれば、彼女の音楽は "時間の感覚を失わせる"と表現できます。穏やかな逃避行、ヘヴィな展開、時折聞こえるビート、時代を超えたドローン・ループなど、2時間以上にわたってさまざまな領域を蛇行する彼女のセットを聴けば、この言葉の意味が明らかになるでしょう。タイムレスな時空旅行をお楽しみください。

A surefire provider of deep, complex weapons for the dance floor and beyond, French-born, Berlin-based artist Kangding Ray has been minting some of the most strikingly unique techno records in recent memory. His body of work for some of the most reputed record labels out there, including Raster Noton, Stroboscopic Artefacts and his own outlet, ara, cuts an introspective path, halfway modular-leaning escapology and beat-driven abstraction. From his background in architecture, his musical approach retains that fondness for structure and the creation, or re-creation of space, both as an actual object and a mental projection. Patrick Russell is a true veteran of the US underground, perhaps one of the last unsung heroes of a now lost era in the Midwest. A genuine sonic storyteller, he magically transforms the diaspora of acid, pure jack energy, and hints of IDM into a deep, fluent sonic dialog that never fails to devastate both minds and dance floor.

A Detroit-bred DJ, artist, and producer active since the early 90's, Patrick has now made New York City his home. Perhaps best known as a key figure in the legendary No Way Back parties, his ability to weave intensely unique, long-format narratives has earned him critical acclaim and repeat performances at Japan’s Labyrinth festival, Berghain, Unsound, and DEMF/Movement. Patrick has also been steadily building a strong catalog of high-profile productions to compliment his increasingly varied, hypnotic, and in-demand DJ sets; his recent 3-track remix EP on The Bunker New York also marks his induction as an official resident DJ at the long-running Brooklyn party.

His consummate taste and disciplined execution have created a respect that cannot be purchased. Patrick Russell is not just a name to watch, he is someone to be experienced.
