My name is Saundra Williams. I am a singer, songrwriter - over all creative. I've decided to post some of my creations up here in Soundcloud because I feel like I've been limiting myself to a certain way of expressing myself, for whatever reasons and I have been feeling a very strong urge to not do that anymore. My music is for, who it's for. It will find it's tribe.

"Make Room (For Your Blessings) is my first offering. I'm just learning how to make beats for myself. I play a little tambo but that's about it but I can sing and I know what I feel. I  press record, start singing and build upon that until I feel it's done. I don't worry about it being perfect because it is perfect, just as it is. Then, I tie a bow on it and it's ready to share.

This recording is the second that I am posting here in my effort to not hide or shrink or be fearful of what I have inside to feel or say. I am also exploring making beats, on my own. I don't play any instruments besides tambourine and well, it has it's place but not in this song. 

This track is about someone who had me fooled. It is expressed in a combination of dance beats, bass, drums and me singing and layering some bgvs. I just stepped up to the mike and started singing and this is what came of it. My songs are my form of art and they are for who they are for. No more compromising. I just can't anymore.
