The Reaper surveyed the decaying fields, now becoming canvases of ash. The few who managed to survive after the convergence of the Wall of Fire took to the skies in aircraft. Only the soldiers of troops of the Reverse Moon mages and the warriors of the king's retinue remained below. The king himself was successfully transported to a safe dimension before the common destruction in fire. Now, only about fifty fearless fighters and mages could resist the Reaper. The dark silhouette of the Reaper, which seemed to rest against the top of the sky and form a blackening breach in it, approached the survivors. The Reaper wasn't charged enough to create the next Wall of Fire - he needed about two more hours to regain his strength. During this time, all rescue aircraft had to leave the battlefield and need to be transported to a safe dimension.

The Reaper, transferring its substance, increased the length of its arms in order to catch and destroy drifting airships with refugees faster. The fighters opened fire from the ground with the energy bundles summoned by the mages burned the Reaper in rapid bursts. He, in turn, was re-building up the destroyed sections of his meta-body. The king's troop had less and less time to curb the Reaper, preventing him from acquire the fire again and covering the borders of the central regions of the First Earth with a new Wall. Hope was still alive - it was time for the archmage of the Reverse Moon, who was about to materialize on the battlefield any minute.
