Arguably the 'ID' track of the year, 'Committed To Sparkle Motion', a title inspired by Donnie Darko, has been the source of much speculation as to the true artist behind this magical vocal; the mystery is no more.

Discopolis are a three-piece band from Edinburgh. They create shoegaze/disco/house music with synthesizers, guitars and drum machines. The school friends, Fergus (vocals, synth and guitar), Laurie (synth, guitar and samples) and Dave (synth, drums, production), formed in late 2010. Developing their live show at summer festivals across the UK and Europe they have supported acts such as Friendly Fires, Wild Beasts, Metronomy, Simian Mobile Disco, Django Django and Matthew Dear while also remixing for The Wombats, Paper Crows, Diagrams, Miaoux Miaoux and Airship.

Their debut single 'Lofty Ambitions' was playlisted on Radio 1 garnering support along the way from Pete Tong and Rob da Bank.

On this initial release of 'Committed To Sparkle Motion' dutch duo 'DubVision' live up to their hype, following up their club hits 'All By Myself' and their collaborative release 'You & I' with Project 46 feat. Donna Lewis. Their signature sound is stamped on this production receiving huge support already from Axwell, Thomas Gold and Swedish House Mafia.

The original and further remixes are to follow on the full release to be scheduled at a later date.

"Discopolis - Falling, Axwell's mix. Sounded brilliant, interesting to see how the Swedes are branching out and what their first movements are following the dismantling of that trio. You got Axwell, moving into the big radio records world with a massive mix of Discopolis, it sounded huge I thought."

Axwell has produced single 'Falling (Committed To Sparkle Motion)' from Scottish Indie Band Discopolis and as you may have guessed, the title is inspired by cult classic Donnie Darko. Axwell first heard the Scottish band when their debut single 'Lofty Ambitions' was play listed on BBC introducing and it was through that playlist the guys made their festival debut playing the Introducing stage at Reading and Leeds. They have received extensive Radio 1 support from BBC introducing plus plays from Nick Grimshaw, Pete Tong and Rob da Bank.

The four piece group have supported the likes of Friendly Fires, Wild Beasts, Metronomy, Simian Mobile Disco, Django Django and Matthew Dear while also remixing for The Wombats, Paper Crows, Diagrams, Miaoux Miaoux and Airship. The DubVision remix of 'Falling (Committed To Sparkle Motion)' was a mainstay throughout the Swedish House Mafia one last tour and has also been supported by Tiesto, David Guetta, Nicky Romero, Avicii, gaining over 400,000 plays on YouTube to date.

This is not the first time Axtone have released something from the alternative 'world', having released a remix of Miike Snow in 2012. Axwell himself has long been associated with remixing bands, including Coldplay, Temper Trap and Hard Fi to name a few.

Having headlined the first ever Sunburn Festival in Goa when it began back in 2007, Axwell will be making a much-anticipated return this year on December 29th to headline the 35,000 event. Axwell last visited India earlier this year as one third of Swedish House Mafia’s One Last Tour. To finish off the year in style, he’ll then go to Dubai to headline Sandance at the Atlantis Hotel on December 31st.

After a relentless 2013, German beatsmith, Thomas Gold, is ready to unleash his long-awaited single, 'Remember', arriving on October 28th via Axtone Records.

'Remember' is the long awaited Axtone follow up to the Beatport #1 reaching 'Sing 2 Me' as well as the 'Axtone Presents Thomas Gold' compilation. 'Remember' describes the story of a couple spending the night out and experiencing the beauty of the morning sunrise together.
