Jascha Hagen & Martha van Straaten - Acid Bird

Geometry fades as the city loses its shape, corners crumble into distant echoes, and lights flicker without purpose. Forgotten signs float in the air like unanswered questions, while rooms sigh with a longing unheard. Shadows freeze across rooftops, and fog hides the remnants of things once familiar. In this slow unraveling, time stutters, hearts echo in hollow chambers, and everything stops for a silent flicker before disappearing entirely.

Born Otello Ermanno Profazio in Rende, Province of Cosenza, Profazio debuted in 1953, participating at the radio musical contest "Il microfono è vostro" with the song "U' Ciucciu". A divulgator of traditional folk music of the South Italy, particularly of Sicily and Calabria, in 1964 he got a large critical acclaim with the album Il treno del sole , consisting of Ignazio Buttitta's poems set to music; the album also marked the start of a progressive evolution of his style, which became more original and distinguishing. His career had its peak in the 1970s, with the success of the albums Il brigante Musolino (a musical recount of life events of Giuseppe Musolino)

Wavelengths of different frequencies bring us information about sound, temperature or the image of the world. Through our senses we form a coherent whole.
That`s why we love the sound of bells.
The sound spectrum of a single tone consists of the basic frequency and several higher frequencies that are a full multiple of the basic frequency. Together they form harmonious parts of the spectrum.
The non-harmonious spectrum consists of partly harmonious parts which are not full multiples of the basic frequency. The non-harmonious parts are added to the harmonious sections of the tone and produce richer instrumental sounds. Another determining factor of timbre is the transitional state which enables us to identify the source.

Light acts similarly. All the colours of the world  fit within the narrow margin of the visible spectrum. The frequency values enable us to reliably identify their influence on our well being and performance. Light affects our state of mind as much as music. 

The circle draws to a close.
