Next up this summer on Hannah Wants' Etiquette imprint is Dutch DJ and producer, Simon Kidzoo, who makes his debut on the label with the brand new, 'Changes' EP. Having grown up with a love for House music, Simon Kidzoo has spent the last decade honing his sound and experimenting with many different styles and genres, in turn releasing on an impressive list of labels including Toolroom, Saved, Lapsus, Bandidos, Nervous and his tracks have been supported by key tastemakers in the scene including Eats Everything, Green Velvet, The Martinez Brothers, Mark Knight, CamelPhat, Riva Starr, Technasia and Gorgon City. The 'Changes' EP seduces listeners with its weighty drum patterns, crisp and energetic basslines, exciting synth transitions, electrifying vocals and ominous atmospherics resulting in two dusky rollers produced with the dancefloor in mind.

California native Mike EFEX is no stranger to regular Coldharbour followers, and he makes a welcome return to the label with a track primed for those dark and dirty moments late into the night, entitled Machine City.

Debuted on a passionate Global DJ Broadcast World Tour recording night in Buenos Aires by label owner Markus Schulz, Machine City exemplifies his shift in mood, as the peak hour highs descend into the weird and fascinating rabbit hole.

Combined with hypnotic percussion, Mike's signature brooding melody shines through during the break, and is easy to sew why Machine City became a listener favorite at an early stage. It will be an ever present in the long club nights for many months to come.

For their second release of 2015, Saved Records put their faith in two seasoned pros of the house and techno scene. With a combined total of over 30 years experience between them, long-time friends Oxia & Yannick Baudino step up to the plate and deliver some deep, sultry and groovy tech-house with the Just As Well EP.

“I heard You” is a pacey tech chugger that comes with plenty of drive and purposefulness. Built around a swaying bassline, lush swabs of synth and tight, punchy beats, the track evolves with a thoughtful yet visceral groove. Billie Bergström’s sensual vocals interplay perfectly with the jangling piano keys, creating a spiraling cascade of rhythm and groove.

“Just More” is more laidback but heavier and deeper also. The soundscape is sparser, giving the track a stripped back feel but the beefed up bass keeps its dancefloor head on. Subtle melodies are intertwined in the mix, creating a vibe that is as beautiful as it is functional.

The dub mix of “I Heard You” rounds off the package with a joyful rendition of the original. Just stripped to the idiosyncratic bassline, the track takes on a life of its own and settles into a party mood that is devoid of any tension or drama. It’s just sheer adulterated fun.
