Spanish artist Cuartero is no stranger to Saved and for his latest outing presents a two-track EP. First up is “Newo”, a rolling bomb with a bassline built upon punchy, swinging toms that spawn an agile pace 
alongside the skipping snares. The blazing synth oscillates intelligently between the kicks and when the drops come along, the captivating arps build the intensity to great effect! “Visual” seals the package with it’s rooted bassline delivering a prodigious groove and boasts just as much dance floor destruction as the A side.

Opening the EP, ‘Stand Up’ sees Aurel engage regimented and authoritative percussion, rolling basslines and
up-front vocal samples, whilst the energetic ‘Ghettoblaster’ combines choppy drum shots with more organic
tones, snaking grooves and further infectious vocal hooks throughout. Last up, title cut ‘Change The Cycle’
rounds our proceedings as rumbling low end tones go to work amongst raw snare licks and bumping sub bass,
shaping up an impressive debut offering from MÜSE.

Having already impressed with releases on labels including elrow, Rawthentic, Moon Harbour, Desolat, Hot Creations and Solid Grooves, Ecuadorian rising talent; Carloh is welcomed back to Saved with his debut ‘Latino’ EP which showcases his unique, distinguished sound. Fusing pre-Columbian musical instruments of Ecuador, he was heavily influenced by his father and uncle who taught him to play the bongos and congas and were both DJs themselves. Since travelling to Europe, he has fused these sounds together and now has a fresh Latin tinged sound that is a mix of Andean native music and House. ‘Latino’ kicks off the EP; a crisp and energetic cut featuring suspenseful drum rolls, dispersed vocal cuts and rolling percussion. B-side ‘Wirakchuro’ doesn’t disappoint either, driving steady hi-hats over the captivating vocals of Tamya Moran and bouncing drums with a low stuttering bassline

Making his return to Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records this month is Belgian DJ and producer, Siege, with his brand new 'Forget' EP. Raised in Hasselt, outside of Belgium's best-known clubbing centres, Siege, whose techy take on House has graced labels including Toolroom, Circus, We Are The Brave, Truesoul and Strictly Rhythm and his tracks have received support from the likes of A-List DJs; Adam Beyer, Yousef, Alan Fitzpatrick, Mark Knight and Hot Since 82.
