For the next Lost record we called up on NYC's Manik for a three track EP. The lead track 'I Know' kicks things off with a nice vocal dancefloor weapon. A real steady tonal constant low end sitting on top of an almost hypnotic hook. The raw vocal samples showcase an old school rhythm throughout. Jacques Renault on a remix tip steps it up little with a few glitchy surprises. Here the jackin percussion vibes work well alongside the raw drums.

To wrap things up 'Waiting' is a cleverly mastered garage style anthem with another melodic vocal arrangement which kindly provides an uplifting yet sleazy heads down groove.

This release offers some dazzling talent with sublime groove and techy impulses coming together perfectly. Hearing these early or late into the evening, this should go down a treat for some dancefloor heat!

Two years on from his last release for the label highly rated Italian producer Pirupa is back tearing it up at Saved Towers once again. His three-track EP dives straight into dark, underground tech-house that bristles with the kind of intense atmosphere that has made his tunes such bona fide floor destroyers over the last few years.

“Wise” is built around a sense of urgency and momentum, garnered through relentlessly stabbing basslines, elongated pads, alarm-like melodies and weighty drums. Tension builds throughout the track, tittering on the edge but never spilling over into chaos, preferring instead to revel in the murky, paranoid swirls of uncertainty.

“Can You Hear Me” is once again full of compulsion and drive, but this time comes with a fresh injection of swing. Its deep bassline sways wildly, throwing the groove into an intoxicating whirlwind as chopped-up synths swoon across the top to add the addictive hook that keeps the track ploughing forward so powerfully. “Sunrain” is all about the intricate, chiming melodies that Pirupa masterfully manages to interplay not just with each other, but also with the cylindrical beats that tumble away in the bottom end. All three tracks are fueling the fires of a distinctive producer who consistently churns out music with bags of personality.

'Continental Lover'. The most unique and exciting vocal duo in electronic music return to Diynamic for the first time since their 2008 collaboration with label chief Solomun'Federgewicht'. Having provided the vocals for Jamie Jones' smash hit 'Summertime', the duo have never been far from the dancefloor. 'Continental Lover' the first single to be taken from the album, perfectly demonstrates the duo's fresh, dance floor focus. Wonderfully soulful, harmonized vocals flow deliciously over powerful synth chords. An acapella break becomes inspired and driven by a throaty piano riff as the gorgeous vocals once again shine.
