Next up on Hannah Wants' label this summer is Spanish DJ & producer, Rafa Barrios, who makes his debut with his brand new, 'Robox' EP. Born and bred in Seville, Rafa started producing and deejaying from a young age and quickly garnered support from AAA DJs including Carl Cox, Reboot, Chus & Ceballos, Marco Carola, and many more who continue to play his tracks today. Having forged a name for himself in the Dance community over the last decade, Rafa's productions have found homes on respected labels in the industry including Toolroom, Saved, Repopulate Mars, Hottrax, Kaluki and Lost, and he's played sets in some of the biggest clubs across the globe. The 'Robox' EP encompasses Rafa's signature Iberican sound, offering two turbocharged Tech House cuts packed with crisp drums, playful percussion, hypnotic synth lines, pulsating basslines, and a grooving low-end throughout. Mario da Ragnio returns to Great Stuff with two new outings, that are just waiting to be played as loud as possible. Mario is well known for his impactful, in your face beats and his high energy sound designs. His "Next Please" track is no exception to this formula. On the flip side Mario teams up with Oliver Oza to bring us "Bombay", a stomping prime cut, that builds and moves forward with snappy hats and organic percussive elements. London based artist Cera Alba returns with a deeply underground three track release on Santé’s highly acclaimed AVOTRE imprint, marking his return to the label after a series of high impact tracks over the past 18 months.

Title track ‘Desolado’ is an impressive display or Cera Alba’s continued evolution as a budding electronic producer. Exaggerated build-ups drop effortlessly into even bigger rolling basslines, while the almost garage-like synths dance over the quickening beat interludes to create a flawless club weapon, set to bring fire to dancefloors from Ibiza to Miami this summer.
Opening with a punchy, rhythmic beat and quickening rolling synths, Cera wastes no time setting the pace on ‘Paladar’, a dancefloor ready track that makes a big impact on it’s own, while still sitting cohesively on the overall release. The soulful vocals add a new element to the big room club vibe of the track, before acid heavy synth interludes drop in to round off this rave-ready banger.

Rounding off the release with another big, jacking house track, Alba adds a whole new sonic dimension to the release with ‘Eros’. The whispery, melancholic vocal brings a huge depth to the track, which alongside the wide, chunky bassline goes a long way to transport the listener from the main room, to the after-hours, while the looping synths keep the vibe decidedly current.

The next release on Libero comes courtesy of Italian, Enrico Bellan. Returning to the label after a couple of sensational previous offerings, Enrico’s latest EP is a welcomed solo debut for the Rovigo native. Featuring a trio of original works, ‘Jump Ahead EP’ oozes with Mediterranean flair and an undeniable coolness throughout - whilst retaining plenty of signature Libero traits.

Getting things moving, ‘Jump Ahead’ is a well-structured groove. Layers of precisely panned percussive elements create a fresh rhythm that is just as addictive as it is enjoyable. Using atmospheric background sampling to give the track a crisp top-end, it’s perpetual momentum will keep you moving till it finishes.

‘What Did Jack Do’ moves through the gears, bringing a more up-tempo level of gusto to the table. Scattered hats, shakers and tambourines sizzle right through the heart of its robust low-frequency flow. Tonal toms and bright sub-bass drive some melody into the mix, rounding off this pleasant terrace weapon.

Last, but by no means least, ‘One Saliva Bubble’ takes a darker approach. Very much tribal in feeling, the track has a hypnotic sense of rhythm through melodic instruments as opposed to the traditional drum and percussion methodology. An eerie and darkened jungle type atmosphere fits perfectly with the stomping jibe brought on by the track’s high level of oomph.
