Dutch legend and Wolfskuil inner circle member Benny Rodrigues returns to the label for a fresh twelve. In the DJ booth he has no equal and established himself as one of the world’s premier selectors. Besides his ominous DJ skills, Benny has been making waves in the studio the last couple of years as well. Wether it be as ROD or under his own name, respected imprints worldwide have embraced and released his productions with eagerness. Klockworks, CLR, Drumcode and Desolat are just a few of the labels he can call home now.

Wolfskuil wouldn’t be Wolfskuil if we didn’t pick the ‘odd one’ of the litter. The Choice Is Mine might be the most freaked out & modulated excersize Benny has yet to unleash upon the world. No 4 bars in this mental trip are the same, ever evolving around a sequence that brings old 90’s warehouse techno to mind. 

A peaktime monster like this deserves a royal rework. Berghain resident, Dystopian head honcho and man of the moment Rødhåd happily agreed to give his own and unique vision on the original. The result is stunning, psychedelic and with a little unexpected surprise in the final part of his remix and compliments the original in a perfect. Another Gem in our catalogue, we hope you will enjoy this as much as we do!

Julian Jeweil, a French artist based in southern France and Berlin, is one of the most talked about underground Techno artists. He found his signature sound through his various productions and live sets, all characterized by a melodic style of techno.

After a couple of releases on Cocoon Recordings, Skryptöm, Plus8 Rec,  Minus & Form Music, he is about to release his third Masterpiece EP on Popof’s imprint. 

With “Meteorite Ep”, Julian introduces and perfectly mixes techno textures with powerful basslines, crazy synths, insane grooves and mental backgrounds.

Carl Cox is an iconic figurehead of the electronic music industry, whose influential legacy includes his much famed label Intec, which he runs with friend and business partner Jon Rundell.

Popular with many of Techno’s key players, Intec regularly receives support from the likes of Marco Bailey, Nicole Moudaber, UMEK, Pan-Pot, Ken Ishii, Luigi Madonna and Cristian Varela.

The latest Intec release is from UK based artist Phutek who with is proud to present his first release on Carl Cox label following heavy support from Carl in his DJ sets.

Phutek has previously released on labels including Yin Yang, Jumpstereo, Element Recordings plus Layer 909, and has featured in the Techno top 100 best sellers on both Beatport and Traxsource.

Track one titled “Edged” is dark and punishing Techno with pulsating synth stabs that merge with the subtle euphoria of the melody to create an enthralling sense of mixed emotion. Full throttle and packed with energy, the tracks captivating dancefloor groove is peak time and expertly programmed. Essential for any DJ this is a sure fire selection for those looking to get the party started.

The second track “Prodigious” takes no prisoners from the start, with its rolling bassline and hard hitting percussion played in fast flowing rhythms. Not for the faint-hearted the track has a menacing sense of tension brought to life with dramatic bursts of sinister sounding FX. Climaxing with the heavy chords of the main break, this is a weapon in every sense of the word!

<p>Matt Sassari makes his solo debut on Phobiq with an astonishing 4 tracker EP titled &#8220;Ameno&#8221;. The title track is first up and delivers a straight-laced techno banger that builds on thick plump bass providing the backdrop for intriguing vocals . &#8220;Daytona&#8221; follows closely with a percussion heavy groove section, while &#8220;No Fear&#8221; brings crafty synthwork to the table. The EP closes with &#8220;Shaman&#8221; and twists your mind with hypnotical vocals and steady bassline.</p>

This is a premiere for this Century. It's the 5th solo release of the label boss Jens Lissat, who created more than 1000 productions in his career so far. 
He chose a one bar love of a disco anthem and combined it with a Roland 303 Acid Line. The result is a massive techno blockbuster. Premiered already on the STREET PARADE in Zurich/Swiss, this track was absolutely killin' it!

For the latest release on his legendary Intec Digital imprint, Carl Cox has re-enlisted the talents of the ‘Queen of Techno’ Nicole Moudaber, who returns to Intec Digital with the deadly ‘Roar EP’ in January 2013. The pair has a long-standing relationship which has seen Nicole become both a regular guest at Carl Cox’s ‘Revolution’ night at Space Ibiza and also deliver her inaugural release for Intec Digital in 2011.
 
The ‘Roar EP’ witnesses Nicole continue 2012’s fine form. The previous 12 months saw her release two killer EP’s on Drumcode, alongside outings on Kling Klong and Leena Music. Now Nicole steps into the New Year with two trademark powerful and percussive techno tracks.
 
First up is title-track ‘Roar’ on which Nicole’s signature hard-hitting drums remain constant and commanding throughout. On top of this tough base Nicole gradually adds other elements such as a shimmering melody, brooding synths and an echoing vocal, which expertly serves to build the atmosphere and tension in the track to boiling point about six minutes in, upon which the track breaks back down into it’s percussive groove - definitely one for peak-time dancefloors.
 
Next up on a funkier techno tip is ‘Brooklyn Hangover’. While the track is again centred on tightly-programmed tribal drums, the overall vibe is much more playful as melodic stabs are given a prominent position resulting in an infectious and engrossing techno cut.
 
The ‘Roar EP’ once again demonstrates Nicole’s considerable talents and shows why she is considered one of the leading producers on the scene. It is sure to strengthen her already solid foundations for what is set to be a landmark year production-wise for a rising star.
