For their penultimate release of the year Toolroom welcome yet another label debutant, this time in the form of Italian tech maestro, Uto Karem. What Uto has created here truly is something special. The result of re-creating those lead synth elements from the classic Octave One ‘Blackwater’ track and layering them over the top of a low-slung and dirty tech house groove is just incredible. With the insatiable BPM Festival in Mexico just around the corner, this certainly looks set to become an underground anthem and provide the sound-track to those sun drenched pool parties.

As if the original wasn’t exciting enough, Ninetoes is drafted in on remix duties, also debuting on the label, and he manages to take the track to a whole new level by using tougher drums and a hypnotic, techno driven bass line. This version definitely lends itself more to the club dance floors making this the perfect package and another aspirational string to Toolroom’s musical bow of 2015.

Illustrious female producer Davina is set to unveil her cultivated four track ‘Jungle Chic EP’ on leading label Hot Creations under new alias Davina Moss.

Davina Moss is the deep / tech house project of Davina, an artist who has spanned the far corners of house, electro, techno and minimal, releasing over 200 tracks as well as producing numerous albums and mix compilations. In 2013 she found her way onto Hot Creation sub-label Hot Trax with the dynamic two tracker ‘9 Weeks’. Two years on and the ‘Jungle Chic EP’ is an accomplished edition to the Hot Creations catalogue under her new alias. Each track is a first class delivery for the dancefloor, fixed in an accelerated gear she delves into tribal-esque rhythms and spacey FX structured over rolling drum workouts and unforgettable basslines.

Now residing in Ibiza, Davina is originally from New Caledonia, a French island between Australia and New Zealand. A master of all trades she is known as a DJ, live artist and as one of the world’s most in demand music technology tutors. The successful artist has played most clubs and hotspots on offer with numerous festivals appearances playing to crowds of up to 60,000 people in Brazil, Japan, Russia, Ibiza, South Africa, Israel, Australia, Chile, Mexico, Argentina and many more.

Rocking dance floors over the past 14 years with her incredible energy on stage, Davina is now ready to break even more floors with her fresh sound as Davina Moss.
