When they asked him to remix ‘Feathered Serpent’, he was thrilled to be able to rework these historic medicine soundscapes. Utilizing his signature alchemy of cutting edge production techniques with the intention of dissolving stylistic boundaries, Savej has created a magnificent blend of ancient future ceremonial bass music. Myself and good friend Liquid Bloom are honored to have been entrusted to create an ancient future rendition of this age-old medicine jam.

Like many indigenous cultures, the Yawanawá deeply recognize that music goes far beyond entertainment - it’s a vital part of our spiritual expression, connection to nature, healing, community, and that unspeakable remembrance of the part of ourselves that spans beyond the human experience. This can be instantaneously felt on a visceral level the moment these songs are sung…pure magic.  

All proceeds from this single will be donated to a non-profit (FUTURO NATIVO) with the intention of raising money to acquire solar panels for Ronnã’s village, Yawarani.
