The set moves from trip hop to UK rock with interludes of jazz and experimental music. It fills a moment of stillness with romantic wonder and grey melancholia.

This is a return to The Great Beyond ‘24, & a re-recording of the set I played there at 11am Saturday 7/27. Had the pleasure of opening the Communion stage, & brought out some ambient, dubby, acidic, & minimal selections to start out day 2 of the festival. 🌀 

Due to some tech issues I didn’t get a suitable recording at the fest, however, this one is essentially the same mix in essence & track list. My goal was to capture the same energy & playfulness as the original, & I think this one does it well. Hope you enjoy  🐐

Hello my fellow clowns,

Human DJs present 2 hours of reasonably solid deejaying. If this was not a B2B session I would have very likely cut this mix to the best hour, but because this is a collaborative endeavour and Lucci said post the whole thing, you get the full 2 hours.  

Lucci is one of my fave DJs in the scene and we frequently have the same trax on our sticks. We tried our hardest to resist the fast tunes and play some slower, housier, vibey stuff. You get lots of 90s and early 2000s timeless stuff and a touch of contemporary dance music.

My name is Cosmo, I am a DJ born and raised in Ohio currently based in NYC. I am most known for my high-energy sets that incorporate house, club and r&b. I always try to bring people back in time with familiar tunes in a whole different way. 

I grew up to music always being played from the time I woke up till the time I went to bed. I started DJing when I was 15 from my older cousin visiting from NY showing me dance tracks he was spinning and I fell in love. It has been a long journey but I have found so much healing in music. My main focus is to bring us queer poc to the front and amplify our voices.
