We're extremely excited to have Valerio Della Notte for our 23rd podcast of our series.💛

We met Valerio in person only a few months ago, in Milan, but we already had clear ideas about who he was: after consuming and polishing his "Connection Issue" record, we had the pleasure of being able to get to know him personally and smell his love and the passion he feels for music.

This podcast is proof: a studied progression, in which details are not left to chance, and a curated musical selection record after record. In this hour and a half of music, different situations and sensations are told, established in precise time lines that immediately connect the sound with time and place.

Bosconi Records is thrilled to announce a distinctive vinyl release that harks back to berlin 2000's good old days
The featured track of this release unveils Console's , known and active as Acid Pauli, reinterpretation of a track that gained fabio's attention during his stay in Berlin in 2000.

Fabio Della Torre, the owner and A&R of Bosconi Records, stumbled upon this hidden gem during his year in Berlin as many djs in the city were spinning it. Finally his quest to uncover the origins of this track led him to a CD release on the label of Angelika Köhlermann.
The track in question is Console's reimagining of “Let's Rock Baby" a composition by the independent musician and video artist Anne Laplantine, who adopted the Japanese-sounding alias Michiko Kusaki. This version was originally released alongside a series of remixes by artists such as Dmx krew, Felix Kubin, and Adult, all featured on Angelika Köhlermann's label.

Today, Bosconi Records is thrilled to bring this iconic track to light again on vinyl, accompanied by fresh interpretations. It's important to note that these reinterpretations breathe life into Console's work, not Laplantine's original track, making Console's version the centerpiece of this release.
We have a banger version from German electro luminary The Exaltics which his typilcal electro techno trademark sound. The Exaltics had just released his new album on Clone and has been featured by Helena hauff in her Fabric Mix compilation.
Italian producers Voodoos & Taboos, known for their homonymous label and with an recent "banger" on Bordello a Parigi with an electro playful version.
The vibrant Queen of Coins have breathed new life into Console's track, delivering a fresh new-beat acid ebm burner, giving the track a new and personal perspective

Finally, the second EP from Mondo Phase Rec is out. Joining the catalog is another legend of electro/electroclash: Sneak-Thief. Half of the legendary Polygamy Boys, Michel has always stood out over the years with his retro-nostalgic melodies and electro-funk sound.

The vinyl consists of four solid tracks that serve as a litmus test for the entire musical journey. The record opens with ‘Fashion Victim,’ a classic electroclash track with a compelling vocoder as the main motif, followed by ‘All Let Go,’ a dub version of one of his historic pieces that remains incredibly relevant. It features an intense and hypnotic electro-funk bassline. The B-side kicks off with ‘Der Herzensbrecher,’ featuring drum breaks and futuristic melodies straight from the 80s. To conclude this journey, ‘In A Distorted Wonderland’ is the toughest and most introspective track, with sharp and paranoid leds, bringing us to the core of Sneak-Thief’s production.

Toronto's electronic music scene luminary, Dave Rout, known as Datafreq, joins the Bosconi family "Circuit Garden" EP.
With a musical experience as Datafreq spanning 2 decades, and a continuous presence since the mid-80s, he has become a cornerstone in the electronic music scene in Toronto.

"Circuit Garden" is a six-track collection that pays homage to Datafreq's distinctive blend of video game music and electro sounds. A true pioneer, as he brings forth his unique musicality that rocks since he started the project in 2004.

This EP features select tracks from his debut album, "Fun for the Whole Family," originally released in 2006 on the esteemed Berlin label Das Drehmoment. Notably, these tracks, (never before available on vinyl with the exception of "Just Like 1981"),
have been reimagined with slight remixing, editing, and remastering to seamlessly align with the vinyl format.

Purist of the vinyl, deejay and records collector since 2001. Steve Murphy has made a name for himself as a dj by blending electroclash, house with mechanic beat and pop appeal: an ecletism
which is testified also by his producer skills.

Skills that granted him, along the years, to gather consent from artists coming from almost any corner of the electronic music scene: Laurent Garnier, Carl Craig, Mount Kimbie, Skream, Legowelt, Boyznoize, Virginia, Nastia and Moxie have all played Steve tracks along the last years.

He starts the producer carrier in 2011 with the first vinyl release on Chiwax from Frankfurt, after that release he worked with labels as Wilson Record, Hot House, Domina Trxxx and Lobster Theremin.

2017 marks the birth of “Metal Position”, record label run by Steve Murphy & Dj Octopus and dedicated to their passion for minimalistic electro.

Steve gained attention from many european promoters, who booked him at venues such as Tresor and Renate in Berlin, Corsica Studios and Oval Space in London, Batofar in Paris, Goa Club and Rebel Rebel in Rome, Sound Department in Taranto, Closer in Kiev, 101 in Clermont Ferrand and Mosaique in St. Petersburg to name a few.

It's a true honor to have such a pioneer of electonic music in our podcast series.
