The 5 tracks strong "Cold Flower (full bloom) EP" is representing and embodying Shiver’s vision and purpose: to bundle, showcase and celebrate the diversity within electronic music. 

The record itself moves between techno, house, breaks and trance. It unifies its tracks by the idea that, in some way or another, they stand in correlation to blooming flowers that are the source of inspiration for the EP’s name and assets. The latter was designed by design studio “(soft)cover” who visualized the sounds via an unique humanized algorithmic artwork.

The record’s A-side is an homage to Japan’s cherry blossom trees. The dreamy yet intense sounds of “Cold Flower” by Melbourne-based DJ Cris P catapult its listeners right into the enlightening atmosphere of the sweet-scenting and colorful pedals.

The Italian electronic music scene of the 90s was a melting pot where influences from different parts of the world fused to give rise to a unique and interesting sounds. Out of this vibrant scene, Italian producer Livio Foglio released a string of EP’s under different aliases and collaborations spanning all genres of electronic music and beyond.

We are glad to present four archival tracks rescued from DAT under his less-known Periferico alias. 
The EP opens with two positive dance floor cuts, where progressive influences meet techno flavours. On the flip-side “Ambrasex” takes the listener through an introspective journey with its nostalgic overtones. “Persuasive Flight” closes the EP, leaving the listener in a sweet trance.

Pancratio serves up the 3rd and final part of his Korghettini Electronics project on One Trip To Avyon. Pancratio: In the early 2000s, Korg invented, engineered and distributed four little instruments called Electribes. A drum machine, one analog modeling synthesizer, a sampler and a music workstation respectively called ER1, EA1, ES1 and EM1.

“Initially I always found it very difficult to use them in my studio, because they weren’t really fitting with the sound and the workflow. Between march and may 2020, I stopped worrying about trying to force the Electribes into the setup: i just put them together and started jamming, recording several tracks without using anything else apart from these little boxes and their own effects… eventually sampling a few things along the way with my headphones into the ES1.”

 The title, as well as the aesthetic of the project, are inspired by a future-retro approach to early electronics and 70s Italian product advertisement.

The Stallions compilations have become a benchmark of Bosconi’s position as one of the leading house and techno labels operating out of Italy. This third installment marks a shift in sound which also comes full circle to the music that first inspired founder Fabio Della Torre as a DJ and producer around the turn of the millennium, when punchy electro production was driving European house and techno into new zones.

All the artists featured on Vol. III are Italian, holding true to Bosconi’s commitment to supporting local talent from Florence and across the country. Amongst the familiar faces is Della Torre’s own Minimono collaboration with Ennio Colaci, which indulges a proudly manic palette of tweaked bleeps and dirty low-end.
