LIVE SET SEBASTIAN VENU, OZORA 2024, COOCKING GROVE STAGE

This set was crafted for Summer Camp 2025 - Rhythm. Dani Boden’s (The event organizer) invitation to weave in tracks that moved us on our artistic journeys struck a deep chord with me. My rhythmic journey began in 2001, and by 2003 I was behind the decks, immersed in the high-energy world of Hard Trance and Hard House.

For this special set, I revisited that era—reviving signature sounds, samples, and energy that shaped my foundation as an artist. I mashed up elements from my early Hard Trance days with modern and older Progressive Psy Trance to create a bridge between past and present—a rhythmic story told through sound.

I played Saturday at midnight, taking over from Dave Irish who closed on 132 BPM Psy Tech, and setting the stage for Arcane who kicked off at 142 BPM. It was a transition zone—perfect for a journey.

This set is both a nod to where I come from and a celebration of where I’m headed. Some old, some new, all rhythm.
