Save Your Atoll is a project established in 2019 by Italian artist Antonello Meloni, based in Sardinia. Deep sound and techno form the foundation of his music, incorporating ambient and atmospheric elements while maintaining a distinctive groove. In 2020, he began releasing his own productions, starting with a single influenced by Burial and later contributing to The Gods Planet's 10th-anniversary compilation with Mediterranea on TGP X. Throughout 2021, he released EPs such as 'El Ritual', 'Bioma', and 'Blind Runners' on labels like Fur:ther Sessions, Oslated, and Dosis Records. In 2022, he continued his prolific output with releases on Bahn Rec. and Space Textures, and also showcased his DJ skills at Basstation events. His tracks have garnered support from renowned artists in the underground scene such as Ness, Claudio PRC, Blazej Malinowski, Eric Cloutier, Ina Kacz, Justine Perry and many others.

Save Your Atoll At Equilibrio Festival 2024 Ambient Live Rec.

Revelation of Sound is pleased to present "Save Your Atoll",  a project born in 2019 by Italian artist Antonello Meloni based in Sardinia. 

Deep sound and Techno are his current language that forms the basis of a musical expression rich in ambient and atmospheric elements never forgetting the groove that outline the storytelling. After the first year dedicated to presentations and recording dozens of podcasts in 2020 Save Your Atoll starts releasing its own productions, first with a single with strong influences "Burial" then contributing to the compilation for the 10 years of The Gods Planet with Mediterranea on TGP X and finally releasing in January 2021 The Universal Pattern, an Ep. of three self-produced tracks. 

Also in 2021 they released El Ritual, Bioma Ep and Blind Runners for Fur:ther Sessions (Germany), Limbara on Oslated (Korea) and Body Language for Dosis Records (Chile). In 2022 several releases followed each other releasing also for Bahn Rec,(Spain) and Space Textures (England) and in the summer he also starts to show up behind the decks, hired by Basstation he joins Polygonia, Claudio Prc, Martinou in addition to the residents, while at the end of the year will see the light an Ep. together with the talented Johnp Plaza on his newborn Linderluft Rec. and the very first track on vinyl on a huge V.A. for Fur:ther Sessions. 

The first Lp with 12 tracks (digital + vinyl) is out September 1st 2023 with Further Sessions and one solo Ep for Lotus Parable (Digital) along with some singles and remixes. His tracks have been played both live and included in many podcasts and supported by top underground artists in the scene such as :Richie Hawtin, NESS, Claudio Prc., Eric Cloutier,Ina Kacz, Justine Perry, Blazej Malinowski, Kangding Ray, D-Leria, Rene Wise and many more.

The path in front of me closes unexpectedly.
A raging river in flood was carrying debris and mud.
I had to cross it but I still didn't know how.
I decided to walk along the river for a few meters, until I heard a noise in the distance.
The noise led me to the solution.
The river poured into a natural pool just below me...too far below me.
So I decided to do the only thing that made sense.
I jumped and took my first steps into the void.

I spit water out of my mouth in a jolt.
I opened my eyes and realized that I was fine, no broken bones, but... where was I?
I was totally in the dark, I started to move to try to figure out where I was but what I was touching around me I couldn't describe it.
It was then that my mind began to fret.
Irresistible thoughts left room for peaceful  images and went back to being dark, passing between the light and the dark.
Then I took courage.
The eyes deprived of the light made the energy flow out of my body which, condensing, formed the matter...

I was a thread in the middle of the lawn and the air ran over me, we were all moved by something we thought was windy.
We breathed unconsciously as pollen disappeared into the air.
Then one day I was ripped off and meter by meter without pain I started running and running again.
I was shaken for miles until even the wind was exhausted and while we rested like after an unequal fight we watched until we burst out laughing, we had done it, we had escaped the routine.

The empire of the three red stripes as every day tried to stretch its tentacles to conquer not only lands but especially the minds of humans.
One of the soldiers of the empire, convinced that he was right, tried with a rifle to earn the trust of his interlocutor.
The young fisherman (this was the poor man with the gun pointed at his face) told him that he had not stolen the time.
The soldier did not believe him.
The young fisherman returned vibrating in the blue.

Viola always dived deep, because that's where she worked.
Usually she cured illnesses of the soul and that summer she took care of the umpteenth patient.
As soon as she visited him for the first time, she understood that her patient's soul had suffered serious damage and immediately questioned her own treatment.
Then an old remedy came to her mind that she had learned years earlier during her training.
So Viola decided to dive with the patient every night until the fears disappeared.
Before doing this, she explained that this was the story,...it was El Ritual.

Sure where I was going, I didn't think of anything.
Lives flowed beneath me and sometimes someone was happy with my arrival, others were happy when I was far away.
Anyway, I would come and go until the day I was alone under a scorching sun, I looked at myself and noticed that I was disappearing into the air, inside me I felt the darkness and the fall empty.
Finally I realized that I was no longer above those lives but that I would be part of it, after all this is the nature of a cloud.....transmutation.

Everything happened very quickly.
We broke up into many, in groups of at least 20 or 30 or maybe more.
The wind blew loudly and we hovered in swirls, the oak behind us greeted us with a motherly gaze then we lost sight of her.
While we were spinning free in the air a current pushed us up until, suspended for a moment, we returned to the ground where furiously we began to run towards the great dust.

I left the path and began to climb through the cliff.
I wanted to reach the pine forest above me to seek shelter from the wind that was blowing right in my face hitting me with bullets of dust and debris, I was definitely against the wind.
I put my hands in front of my face and I started to horn the wind screaming and cursing.
Finally I arrived in the pine forest where the wind was filtered by the trees that attenuated the strength.
When I stopped cursing at a hypothetical god of the wind I heard a voice coming from one of the trees near me.
I was terrified and unbelieved then remained silent as he said, "dear friend you complain a lot about the wind that sculpts your face and come here to us in search of shelter, but what about our complaints.
We are trees and whatever wind strikes us we are always upwind".

I was in charge of a large number of us.
I had to worry about everybody, but the good thing was that everybody took care of me.
One of the most important things, for us as for everyone, was the food.
So our community moved around flying for miles in search of food and despite the effort and difficulties we loved to slip slowly through the trees.

An empty room, black walls.
Distant voices somehow made me react.
I got up and started looking for a way out.

In the jungle of thoughts I imagined a door.
A movement of my eyelids and I was outside, fog all around.
That's not how I imagined it, I tried to think.
Another door, another movement of my eyelids and I was out.
I gave it another couple of tries.
I went through several doors and I always came to inhuman, empty places.
Then at the umpteenth attempt I decided not to go further... but higher.
One movement of my eyelids and I was out,
Light, all around.
I looked at my hands lit then, looking down I could see my feet and under them a floor where each tile showed the world below.
Billions of people walked through doors through desolate scenarios, lost wandering.
Their minds had been corrupted and we didn't know it.
Who was responsible for this mental engineering?
It wasn't how I imagined it.
One blink and I was out.
I went back down to go through more doors but not to go on but to look for other people and tell them to go up.
