The Savoy Jazz Orchestra, led by trumpeter Al Ryan, is a 17 piece Big Band made up of the finest professional musicians from the Limerick and Munster region.

Biography
The Savoy Jazz Orchestra was formed in 2008 by trumpeter Al Ryan and performs a vast repertoire of arrangements. Including the music of Count Basie, Charlie Barnet, Les Brown, Harry Connick Jr., Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Ella Fitzgerald, Neal Hefti, Fletcher Henderson, Woody Herman, Harry James, Peggy Lee, Glenn Miller, Sy Oliver, Artie Shaw, Frank Sinatra, Billy Strayhorn, and many others.

The Savoy Jazz Orchestra is available for Weddings, Black Tie Events, Private Functions, Dinner Dances, Anniversary Celebrations, Concerts, Festivals and other special occasions.

In addition to being able to engage the complete orchestra, it is also possible to book smaller groups of musicians as an ensemble, if required. If you’re looking to entertain your guests whilst they enjoy pre-wedding dinner drinks or provide music on a smaller scale for events such as anniversary celebrations, birthday parties and dinners, we would be happy to offer some advice depending on the size of your event and the venue.
