Crossing the path of a like-minded artist is often the start of a lifelong friendship, successful collaborations and a platform for the artists' respective communities to interact and grow.

Our Reflection Volume 1 brought together Sander and Vander and was followed by beautiful and dynamic collaborations between their respective communities, Horde Paris and The Gardens of Babylon Amsterdam.

Volume 2 brings together two veteran DJs, our head honcho Cross End and master craftsman Savvas, respectively based in London and Greece.

"Shiki" is a very special piece, the very first head honcho Cross End releases on Crossings. It is a constantly evolving story, which blends Japanese strings and synthesizers with dynamic drums and a solid baseline – a complex mixture of melodies and dark elements.

"If Only" is equally complex. It is a melancholic and dreamy piece, with a loopy and hypnotic baseline and beautifully crafted, constantly evolving, pads – a mesmerizing emotional journey.

Savvas - If Only

Greek-based, Chicago-born Savvas is a producer and dj. Way back in time, Savvas came in contact with electronic music in 1992, discovering his preference and talent for deejaying he soon started playing around clubs and open-air parties since the late nineties. He joined forces with Vasilis Giouvris aka Yosebu in 2000 and under the name Acropod they released their first album on Klik records and a few singles and remixes on labels around the globe. 
Nowadays Savvas on his personal path on music with the same passion he had and still has for music, he keeps experimenting with different kinds of sounds and rhythms and starts releasing singles to expand his musical style. 
Deep house, ethereal to abstract, atmospheric to cosmic tunes.

Last but not least, as every artist has numerous faces, Savvas is also under the name Falling Sun http://soundcloud.com/thefallingsun in a more ambient, cinematic music profile.
