Solomun Boiler Room Tulum DJ Set

As residents of the Cityfox New York events, it was high time @adriatique had the chance to flex their repertoire and range beyond a 2hr peaktime slot. On April 11, did they ever. After superb sets by Mark Slee (@mcslee), Atish (@atish) and then Martin Buttrich live (@martin-buttrich), Adrian & Adrian took the decks before a packed and very ready house, playing on a super tight KV2 Audio system. Very simply, the greatest testament to this set is that they started at 4am and when they finished at about 9, most on the dance floor remained to hear them through the end. We've never seen so many people stay out so late in NYC, which says it all.

Dear Deer are back after a fine run of hot EPs with a full elegant release from Teologen. Entitled Ritural Turmoil, it features 10 tracks of dramatic and atmospheric tech house. 

Teologen calls himself 'a modern shaman; theologian and producer' and makes spiritual dance music. He has done so on labels like Runemark before now and really shows off his skills here on an album that takes you on a real trip. 

That perfect mix of emotional male vocals and moody drums and keys continues on Supervision and the second half of the album offers the same tracks but as dub versions, so the vocals are removed and the focus is more on the warm, deep drums and melodies. 

This is a well crafted album that works both at home as well as in the club.

Mike Batmanian (MkO, pronounced Muh-Koh) is a Los Angeles based DJ and Co-owner of SBCLTR LA. MkO has been a DJ since 2010, starting from his very own bedroom to having a residency at a local bar and throwing weekly events. MkO then continued to spread his music by playing at clubs and events all across LA. His distinct style of Deep Melodic Techno infused with exotic sounds and cultural instruments will sure to take you on a journey.
MkO's passion for music has brought him and his partners together to bring something special to LA. A platform where like minded individuals would gather to share an experience beyond just the music. SBCLTR was founded in 2016 and has made a great impact on the nightlife scene by curating special experiences one event at a time. They thrive on bringing the most promising artists from all around the world including Satori, Stavroz, Behrouz, Be Svendsen, Sabo, Goldcap, Matthias Meyer and many more. SBCLTR also had the honor of hosting Viken Arman's 'SOUQ Festival' and Amsterdam's acclaimed ''The Gardens of Babylon'' in LA for the first time. Way back in time, Savvas came in contact with electronic music in 1992, discovering his preference and talent for deejaying he soon started playing around clubs and open-air parties since the late nineties. He joined forces with Vasilis Giouvris aka Yosebu in 2000 and under the name Acropod they released their first album on Klik records and a few singles and remixes on labels around the globe. 
Nowadays Savvas on his personal path on music with the same passion he had and still has for music, he keeps experimenting with different kinds of sounds and rhythms and starts releasing singles to expand his musical style. 
Deep house, ethereal to abstract, atmospheric to cosmic tunes.
